Mere Creek Golf Course

About
Mere Creek Golf Course was originally built as a nine-hole course at the former Brunswick Naval Air Station, reserved exclusively for military personnel, veterans, and their guests. The course is now open to the public, offering a challenging but fair test for all skill levels. The holes are somewhat lengthy, which can prove to be tricky off the tees, but the approach shot is more straightforward. Good placement on your first shot and a good drive will guarantee success on almost every hole. The course is far from being flat but it is still an enjoyable walking course. It is great for beginners and casual golfers looking for some practice before taking on a tougher golf course. The casual atmosphere and affordable rates add to Mere Creek's popularity.

Course too crowded, did not play
Didn’t play. Two foursomes were in front of me and teed off late. A seniors tournament was starting and tee times were stacked on top of each other. Staff was a little rude.I won’t use this app again because I can’t get a refund for a round I didn’t play.
Greens were great
We have been playing at Mere Creek for years and I think the course is in good shape considering the drought. We played at Bath Country Club on Sunday and I think Mere Creek was in better shape.
Got reservation online. Didn’t even tee off.
Didn’t play. Course was too crowded. Seems like a course to me, not as nice as I’m used to but is a course.
Great local 9 hole
Brunswick was full and got a great deal on golf now. Conditions were good, better than I expected for the price I paid. Glad I played. I went as a single early in the morning. Nobody in sight until I finished when a league was going out. Friendly staff, driving range off mats for $10. Fairways were hard and dry in august due to the drout but playable with a generous roll. Around the greens and greens were in good condition. Very walkable course, not too hard. I didn't eat there but looked like a nice little restraunt on site offering confort food for a reasonable price.
Fairway Fun in the Hood
Barely 3 miles away, Mere Creek is a little slice of heaven for a quick round of golf. Sunday mornings aren't too busy, but come 9:30/10, it is pretty full!! There is a wonderful mix of old, young, middle aged players - male, female, good golfers, goodish golfers, beginners and very experienced! Everyone seems to respect each other and the pace of play - even joking when there is the occasional errant ball on the wrong fairway!
The staff is kind and helpful and always greet you with a smile! A great place to know "Golf is Fun"!!
Great experience!
The course was in great condition. Greens were super fast. The clubhouse food was also great! Will definitely be back!
Terrific course by the bay!
A terrific 9 holer. but I played 18. White tees on the front nine. blue tees 30 yards further back for the back.
The tee boxes are in excellent shape and the fairways are well groomed. Difficult dog legs and challenging par 3's.
Well placed sand.
Course is in best shape this year than in recent years
We have been playing this course twice a year for many years. This year the course is in the best shape ever. The greens were great and the flowers were beautiful.
Very easy to walk too.
Fun Course!
Course offers a golfer challenges in positioning with quick greens. Staff make one’s golf experience enjoyable, as they are helpful & professional. Always enjoy our round of golf at Mere Creek.
Sue finally gets to Play
Mere Creek is a gem of a course in midcoast Maine. Well run, beautiful gardens, exceptional entertainment on the first Friday of each month, friendly staff, and the course is in great condition. I haven’t been able to play the last 18 months and I enjoyed getting out to play.
