Great day
All in all, it was a great day but had a foursome in front of us, slow slow slow, it took over 5 hours to play. other than that, Fantastic!
Hog Neck and my memories.
I have been traveling to Easton , to play Hog Neck for over 45 years. And up until last year, my friend and I always played back tees. That is a brutal test of golf. So we still enjoy the course, but now we play one more tee box forward. I am 72 and my friend is 65.
Great condition
The course plays great with 5 different tee boxes.
Golf Yesterday 5-2-2022
Course in good shape. Bunkers in great shape. Putting greens, are all poa just pack down, no real grass. So very Fast. Hard to read them. Fairways OK.
Cart path only, no alcohol
Great course and priced right but I’ve played this course at least 10 times and it’s always cart path only rules even when it’s dry as a desert out. Very annoying and slows play and pace down dramatically. Also no one told us when we booked that they were waiting for their liquor license and had no alcohol for sale that day. The Website should list that there’s no alcohol currently or at a minimum you should be told when you book. Also the cart path only thing there constantly is out of control.
Springtime at Hog Neck GC
First time at this course and had a very positive experience here. Course is in fair shape coming out of winter and early spring. Some irrigation work across entire course was in progress. Carts were nice with GPS enabled displays and a cooler for snacks and beverages. Think course will be much nicer in late spring and summer when things warm up. I’ll be back to play again
Solid Course
Played the course on a near perfect day as far as early March goes. The course was in good condition. It looked really good for March. Always decent to play.
