I recently moved to Braintree and I have fallen in love with this course. I often play with a group but I’m willing to play nine myself later in the day. The staff is very friendly, they run a great program. There are also some goats out on the course which makes for some extra fun.
Course just keeps getting worse.
Every time I book here I regret it. Nothing has changed at this course beside the price. It’s the most overrated course around. I don’t know how it’s 90$ to play here. $25 for a cart is just wild. It’s a 5hr round every time. The pace of play is so slow here and never gets better. Theres no much room for improvements here but they only have Goats as there grounds keep. They need about 100 more goats to keep up. If you have a bad slice, good luck. You can even hit the ball right down the fairway and it will bounce like concrete and lose it in the gross swamp areas. For $90 you would expect a Driving Range or chipping green but no. They only have a putting green with 10 people on it at all times. They have a couple nice holes around water but you wouldn’t even know it’s there. They could open things up a little more and make this a great course. But for now I’ll never play there again.
Great municipal course
Whoever the greens keeper is, they really care. The greens and tee boxes were in better shape than most premeire courses I’ve played. The greens were both lush and true.
Hit ‘em’ straight
I love this course. Always well maintained. But not very forgiving if you’re not hitting them straight. Lol
Carts to the Clubhouse
Course is in very good condition. It is unfortunate that you can't get the carts to the clubhouse at the turn.

The course was in tremendous shape- the greens were outstanding. It is a flat track- but a perfect walking course. Enjoy!
Will return
We showed up for our tee time, but our reservation but the course do not have record of it. They were still able to let us out and were very accommodating. Since our reservation was after 6 o’clock, we will not able to rent a cart. In addition, They do not rent out Paul cart after 6 o’clock. They should be clear during the booking reservation as we would not have played there if we had known otherwise.

Good ,because people like you slicing your ball in the woods on every shot then spending all the time in the world looking for it is why rounds take 5 hours . Go play ridder farm or Norwood country club. All you covid golfers that think your good but actually suck so bad that you shouldn't even be on a golf course stay away from Braintree so people who really play this game can play Braintree in under 4 hours
