Nail Down Your Stuff
Nail down your stuff around this place. Played 9 holes there recently and forgot my sunglasses in the cart. Called the shop within, at most, 5-6 minutes of leaving. By that time my cart had been put away and my glasses were reportedly gone. So, in my opinion, either someone is hiding in the bushes and immediately rummaging through the carts for stuff to steal or someone that works there is responsible. Either way, I will never go back and you should be forewarned. For what it's worth, I also spoke to the manager shortly after and he said he "would look into it" and took down my contact info. Not sure what for as he apparently couldn't be bothered with the 2 minute follow up phone call. All that for a course that is the highest priced 9 hole course in the area and is mid at best. Harrisville is in much better shape for 60% of the price. Hemlock Ridge is comparable for less than half the cost. Pakachoag is better and much cheaper. Cohasse is about the same price for an infinitely better course. All of them offer a better value and my stuff hasn't been stolen from any of them.
One of the Best 9 hole Courses in New England
Course has a great Devereux Emmet layout, wonderful old school greens, solid hilly terrain, great conditions, and a great price.
If in the area don’t pass up this Emmet course.
Good course, can be better.
This is a 9 hole course, with some blind shots, fairways are ok but some washboard will rattle you on a cart. Greens are fair, could be better, some rough areas. This day was very slow, no ranger, too long for a round. Ok if you want to get out but you can do better with other courses.
Well worth the $
Golf now app had this course for $20 bucks. Great deal for the money.
Overall course
The staff were very friendly, this course is very playable even for those with a high handicap, the layout is very challenging and it makes you think before taking your shot. The greens are a bit small for what I’m used to but it plays well. The only I can say is the greens definitely need some work, they are a little rough but nothing too big. They have great deals.
Great value. Good course
Course is in good shape. It’s late November and the grass is still well kept. Pace of play was super slow, however, it was a 55° day in late November so it’s to be expected. Not much break in the putts. Greens were receptive. You won’t regret playing here
course was in great shape
An excellent day, friendly staff. The grounds keeper did a good job clearing the couse of leaves. I will be back it was a fun nine.
playing 18
had a wait at the turn, high school & college, matches or practice, no big deal, once we got off it was all good.
Great Little Course
Played my round on a Sunday afternoon. Weather was perfect and the conditions were great. I love the setup of the course. The greens were in great condition and fairways were excellent too. Pace of play was excellent. I walked the course, it's very walkable, the second hole is uphill but the rest of the course is easy walking. I love the two par 5 finishing holes. It's one of my favorite courses to play.
Dudley Hills Golf Course
This course is nestled in a college town. A nice little course with a great layout The greens are set up nicely and are very attainable with bunkers placed in strategic places. The course is in great condition and the greens were quick! We enjoyed our time there and hope to play there again.
Decent 9 hole course.
I've played here 3 times now and I have been satisfied. Conditions specifically the greens are good. Also the greens are easy to play because they don't slope very much at all. Overall worth the money I have paid on Golf Now and will be returning.
