Good day
Tuesday noon round 3 1/2 hrs for 18 course in excellent shape . Very hilly
Hot & Windy
The weather was very windy and humid, but that didn't stop us from having an enjoyable round of golf. Course was in very good shape, greens were a little slow, (I think the humidity was the cause), but true. Course is pretty well laid out, some holes are kind of narrow, ht it starlight and won't be a problem. There were 3 in my group and as a group only lost 1 ball.
Will definitely be back.
NOTE: there is no clubhouse or restaurant, they are working out of a trailer, which is actually laid out very nicely.
Totally enjoyable golf round
A perfect vacation round of golf. Good price, great course on a perfect day.
Traps terrible. Holes repetitive and unfair?
Traps were beyond acceptable with large rocks and they were unraked and lacking sand.
Holes seemed nearly all alike: drive from high tee box(mostly not level with poor grass) to landing area at bottom of hill. Second shot way uphill to blind green over those bad traps. . 3 story clubhouse/pro shop 19th hole and deck closed for 2 years. Pro shop in trailer and food truck for any food. Is Hyannis on the resort of Cape Cod ?? I won’t return.
Nice course
The staff at this course is unbelievable! Very friendly and helpful. The course is really nice and tricky. Greens were very true to the roll! Play this course. It's worth it
Great course
This course and staff were incredible. I would recommend this course to everyone!!
Last minute surprise
Grabbed a last second GN hot deal, wasn’t expecting much, just wanted to get out and play. Pleasantly surprised at the quality and condition of the course. Good test from the blues with an interesting variety of holes, shot makers course. Nice range as well. Minimal amenities, BYO. Recommended!
very nice course
It's a very nice course, definitely will be back again
1st time out
Course was I'm mid summer conditions greens were fast and true Pace of play was a little slow but tolerable Jack was very inviting.
Fall Cape golf
My first time playing at Hyannis Golf Club was a great time!! Very cool layout with fantastic conditions. Approach shots need to be spot on as most greens are above the fairway level. 18th hole plays into a old school clubhouse where the grilled hot dogs are amazing!! Highly recommend this course.
Challenging Layout with Elevated Tees and Greens
The course was in great shape for late August. The best and most notable feature of this course was the constant elevation changes from tee to green. Often you would find yourself looking up at the flag while toiling over your approach shot. It's not an easy task by any means and a wayward hit will leave you in the trees scrambling to get it up and down from practically nothing.
One knock on the front-nine is the back-to-back par threes which can slow play down a bit. Fortunately one is fairly long and keeps it interesting, but it's something to remember when you see the groups backing up.
Overall it really is a fun course that's more difficult than easy. Definitely one to play when in the area.
A pleasant surprise on The Cape
Playing this course for the first time was a pleasant surprise and really outdid my expectations. The layout is fantastic, especially for a course that you can tell they had very little land to work with. The course was in fantastic condition from tees to fairways to greens. The only negative were the bunkers which could use a little "de-rocking". Elevation changes and bunkers are the name of the game on this course and also make sure you club yourself correctly because remember you are at sea level. This was a Tpp 100 course played by us and it was really a nice surprise to find that out as it gives Cape Cod another stop on our endless journey of playing golf.
Empty during the week
Got to play the course in less than 3 hours as there was nobody on it during the week. Course was in great condition and was an enjoyable round.
Fairways, greens and tee boxes in great shape very plush.
Course was in excellent condition, having never played there , there were a few blind holes where you had to guess on your second shot in order to keep play moving as the course was full. Will def. play there again.
