Kelley Greens Golf Course

Fairways aren’t great but it’s a drought and a par three course so whatever. The people were so nice and me and my ten year old felt so welcomed, we’ll definitely come back. Greens were in great shape, and surprisingly challenging!

Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun, quick round, and right near the beach! Plus great course to work in short game.

Enjoyed the course. The holes were challenging and in good shape.

I was confused on the first few. holes on where the first green is. A sign might help. new player.

It's not going to challenge you off the tee, but there are some tight shots that require some good accuracy to get a good score.

Course is very flat, so no difficult uphill shots, but there are some tricky greens that will test your putting.

For the money, was well worth it.

I was charged $107 via GolfNow on 6/13/2022. When we arrived at Kelley Green Golf Course, they charged us an additional $80 to play. I am wondering if the $107 charge from GolfNow on 6/13 will be returned to me?

We hadn't played here for 3-5 years and were pleasantly surprised with the changes. The welcome laid back reception from Brett (co-owner) was delightful. The location is just off the ocean not visible across the Street because of a high breakwater. The terrain has always been a challenge, but recent landscape work is obvious and effective. The greens though recently aerated were in very good condition and challenging. Not a long course but requires attention to natural hazards i.e., salt marsh, natural growth that will eat the ball and small streams, The course is fun and well cared for including the greens, tee boxes and sand traps.

The co-owner runs the bar and restaurant with a well thought out menu. We had fresh berry salads which were fabulous. The costs of the food and drinks are very reasonable. Have already recommended it and plan on a few return visits. Wish the new owners the best and promise they and their staff will treat you well.

Overall course layout is nice. Most greens need a complete overhaul. Whoever graded them must not have known how to read contours. They are all domed shaped which is very frustrating.

May be due to the fact it was early in the season but the course is either undergoing a lot of maintenance or the winter was harsh as the course was in very poor condition. A lot of construction undergoing at the time, large piles of dirt and sand right in front of the first tee box. Many holes where construction had dug up the fairway completely across for installation/repair of pipe work that took you out of the zone. Hope they fix these issues this year for summer. Not very enjoyable at the moment, but not high priced enough for a round to warrant money back demands. Great course for beginners.
