One of my favorite Courses
Allendale is one of the premier courses in my area. It is always in great shape and the fairways are a pleasure to hit off of. The greens are VERY fast right now, but once you get used to them they are great to putt on. I got off early and was by myself in a cart so I played quickly, done in 2 hours and15 minutes. Anytime I have been alone like that and need to get to work, everyone has let me play through, so great golf etiquette on this course!! Everyone should give Allendale a shot , you will love it.
Pristine Course Conditions
Played Allendale Country Club on Sunday afternoon. We played the front nine in under 2 hours as a twosome. The course has good legit par 4s and par 5s.Pristine fringes and greens along with great tees and fairways. We teamed up with a member on the back nine who was very helpful with our placement of shots etc.All totaled just under 4 hours for the round. The starter was very friendly and helpful explaining the layout of the course. Will play again very soon.
Allendale cc
The course was in great shape tee to green. Played the white tees and it was challenging. True par 5's. the par 3's are challenging. Really no easy par 4. This is a good course that should be played.
Very well kept
The greens and fairways were like a fine carpet.
A beautiful June Day!
Allendale
One of the most enjoyable golf courses in the area. The greens are exceptional, fairways plush and the rough is fair. I could not ask for a better golf course. It is enjoyable for all handicaps from the scratch player to the 30 handicap. If you are looking for a fun golf course Allendale is the place to be.
FROM A MEMBER
I am a member of Allendale CC and play here 3 times a week. The course is always in outstanding condition and plays on an average of 4 hours. The staff is helpful and friendly. I feel it is a hidden gem for this area and always enjoyable. We have just moved to semi-private and with a excellent pricing structure, would recommend Allendale as a course that must be played.
Steal for the money
Allendale is easily a $100+ value douse that you can play for half that amount. Throw in the driving range, short game pratice area, friendly staff and this is a nice nice experience.
Conditions were top notch and the pace of play was quick. I learned the course has hosted several state level events and after you play a few holes you can see why.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone in Southeastern Mass.
Shame - could be such a great spot
I'll keep it short. Good price, and I love the layout, the conditioning is great but I have played it a few times and some things that really hurt the experience.
- Staff: Not very friendly. This is important to me and a big deciding factor in where I go back to frequently.
- Members: I believe the club recently from fully private to semi private. I have seen and been involved with a couple of incidents where the members were rude / non welcoming to say the least to guests. Where I come from people are proud of there course and welcoming to guests (who help fund there courses) instead of treating it like there house and your intruding. Staff didnt take any action.
- Silly greens. In a time when EVERYONE is frustrated with pace of play its unacceptable to have what I call silly greens with extreme slopes. I have seen cases where 3 of my 4 balls putted off the green after seeing the previous player do it and trying to be cautious. Any this was in fall. 7th green and 15th are some of the worst offenders but plenty of greens where you have a 3 foot putt and you feel you have to baby it down to hole any pace and its gone past more than you had in the firs place. My group are 7-12 hcp. In my opinion keep that stuff for the pros and give fair greens to amateurs.
Again, I really like the couse. They seem to put a great deal of care and effort into the maintenance of the course and a few easy tweaks and this would be a top spot.

I believe this is Coach's comment. If anyone has a chance to get to Allendale to play around 10am on weekdays, Coach runs a great little Pro-Am. The guys are great, and also pretty good players. Anywhere from scratch handicap and up. I always enjoy playing with Coach's group!
