Amazing!
First time at this course. I’ve played 15 dollar courses and 150 dollar courses. For what you pay to play here they should charge more! Beautiful course, well maintained. Every hole is different, some tight some wide. Great for all players. You can tell it’s maintained by the aeration, newly paved pavement for the cart path, and great repair work. The gentleman in the pro shop was extremely professional and courteous. Next season this course will be getting a paid membership from me!

A thinking golfers course.
There are only a couple of hole where you can just rip and grip your driver. This course, especially the ones into the hill make you think about placement not length. The greens put true but read them for not just the big breaker, but the subtle ones near the cup! This is truly a quirky but fun course. Taking into account the major drought the northeast is experiencing Quail Hollow was in great shape. Only a couple of tee boxes were worn. the fairways were in good condition and the greens were all in excellent shape! The food was excellent and the views from the course and club house are great. But most of all, everybody at Quail Hollow was extremely friendly and welcoming!
nice place
first time playing here, found on Golfnow search. Very friendly Pro shop and very nice course, not long but quite challenging
Testy greens
Greens were very challenging which makes up for the overall shortness of the course. The back (Original)nine is a hidden gem with number 18 a demanding 2nd shot over the waste area.. Only drawback is layout of the front nine if your walking. A fun course in very good condition. Stay for lunch and a drink after the golf.
Quirky but fun
Treacherous diabolical greens. This is a course that is short but tough to score. Greens fast and you really need to play it a few times. To score well. Fairways are well manicured. Condition excellent. Reminds us of a Vermont mountain course on the front nine, back nine is wide open.
Interesting Course
We played Quail Hollow for the 1st time in many years. Only negative was being behind a slow playing group on the front nine. Once they finished we played the back 9 pretty quickly. Front 9 had some quirky short par 4's while the back 9 is more of a standard course layout. Tee boxes were a little rough and the fairways were playable. Greens are very fast and there seemed to be no straight putts. Be prepared. Pro staff and the waitress were all very nice. Definitely a good deal for the money and I would recommend playing here.
Short, Target Practice
First time and expected a lot more for the price. Tee Boxes are a good intro to the rest of the course and they were awful. Greens were just punched and putting was impossible. Almost missed an entire hole because the signage wasnt visible and very confusing. Would not return.
Hidden Gem
This course is hidden in central Mass. but well worth the trip to find it. 18 beautiful holes. Narrow with a some short holes and long ones. Quite a few target holes with side hill lies and elevated greens. Some really pretty views of the country side. The pro shop folks are more than friendly as they helped us to get out earl so we woudll'nt be held up be held up behind a slow 4some. Accurate tee shots are a must. Golf now has some great weekday deals'
Short course, but you better be able to read puts!
Tight, sloping fairways, elevated tee boxes and greens and very fast greens with undulation. Everyone at the course was very friendly and helpful! Wet conditions from the day before(2" of rain), made for a tough but fun day. Unluckily the restaurant was closed. That is why a average rating for off- course amenities. This a quirky but beautiful course with a lot of character. We will definitely come back next year. Plus we want to eat at the restaurant, which friends have told me is extremely good!
Autumn special
Caught a beautiful day.
A Monday morning with overcast skies and few golfers made for a great day on the course.
My partner and I rode and had a very casual stress free round in about 3 hours 15 minutes.
Glad to have the cart for the front nine for a couple of long hikes between holes.
The back nine is one of the prettiest around.
Overall do not be fooled by the yardage. Opening holes are short, par 5’s play long and very challenging, undulating greens make for a good test of your short game.
