Would stay far FAR AWAY place is a joke even under new owners

Had 8AM tee time and others were waiting to get on course but left at 820AM when no one showed up. Golf Now wouldn’t refund because course said they had someone working the pro shop at 7AM. Very strange when there is no lights on, the doors are locked and no employee or starter to be found.

We had a tee time at 8AM and the pro shop was locked and no one was there. We waited until 8:20AM then decided to leave and go to another course. Completely unprofessional for a course under new ownership. No accountability either. I contacted GolfNow for a refund when explaining the situation, they said when they spoke to the course that someone was there at 7AM and they were open…a complete lie! Steer clear of this course.

This course has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, there are several holes in need of tender loving care. Spoke to one of the new owners and was glad to hear they have plans for future upkeep and refurbishment. It’s in a great setting with lots of beautiful maples and oaks and pines surrounding. The course itself has fun challenges with its layout. For the price it’s worth a try.

Sad to say, but this course is in very, very bad shape. Several holes had no grass on the fairway in multiple spots - it was dirt and rock. Same goes for multiple greens - dirt and rocks in spots, with only a 5 foot diameter “green” around the cup.

There is a sign out front that apologizes for the condition and that “changes“ are underway, but I could not see any work being done at the course at all. Unless they completely redo all night holes, I’d stay away from this course.

Played there on October 16, 2025. First time this year. The pro shop person was very very nice and said it was a tough year for the course. Lost irrigation for a month or so. The tee boxes were in very roughy shape. Many temporary boxes. Some fairways were actually pretty nice. Greens were not so good. Can see what parts of the greens they lost. But they were puttable. Overall, paid $40 bucks total for 2 people, nine holes with a cart. Definitely worth it. I wouldn’t pay anymore than that. Hopefully, they can get the tee boxes up to par, but doesn’t look like they are presently working on them.

Staff was great. Off course amenities are very nice. The course itself,.......absolutely horrific. They should be ashamed to even charge people to play. The carts are the best thing about the actual course. Save your money, and play Wampanoag, it's actually in much better shape . ✌️

Used to love playing here but the course hasn’t been maintained at all. Fairways are burnt out, greens are dry to the point of cracking. Tee boxes are destroyed , no really grass mostly dirt and rocks. Save your money and play elsewhere.

Haven't played there in two years. I always thought this was a well maintained underrated little course, but the conditions were pretty rough. The greens were patched up and a bit beat up in most places, the fairways somewhat burned up, but not too bad. The tee boxes we're nonexistent on some holes.

Usually a tee box in the fairway means they're repairing the other teabox, but a couple of them weren't even under repair. A few of the traps looked like they had given up on them.

I like this place and I like the staff. I've met. I'm not sure what's going on, but the course is in rough shape, and they're charging a pretty high rate for a course in the condition it is.

I will give it another shot next year. In hopes, they have figured out the landscaping and groundskeeping.

This course was in absolutely terrible condition. Not worth playing at any price. The tees were beat up. The fairways were all burned out. The bunkers were rough and rocky. And the greens were dried out, cracked, and hard as rocks. Nothing was acceptable about this course. It is not playable, even for a practice round.

I will not come back here. Worst course I’ve played in 20 years.

They stopped watering everything. Including the greens. The greens are dead, cracking and starting to heave. Are they shutting down the golf course? The restaurant is very nice.

Great value, fun course with many decent holes. The greens are worn and the fairways are dry, but for a practice round and some cheap golf, we had a great time. I played my best game - so it's clearly the player more than the course. If it were better maintained, it has potential to be a great course.

This could be a fantastic course with a bit of TLC. There are a few holes that are in great shape and others require some work. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Cannot say enough of the 19th hole, drinks, food and atmosphere are super. Will definitely be back.
