Sandwich Hollows Golf Club

Started out with good service with a attendant loading my clubs on a golf cart but shortly afterwards I realized black tape on the drivers side seat had destroyed my brand new shorts. Noticed a lot of golf carts unused so I wonder why they are using one with a lousy ripped seat? Back 9 was closed due to golf cart path construction ongoing, so I played the front 9 twice which were in good shape, pretty fast greens. Met some nice folks, had some laughs and got a afternoon of golf in. My golf shorts are trashed but I will survive.

The back nine was closed and we did not know that prior to booking. They offered us the front twice which is not a good option. If I would have known the back was closed we could have booked somewhere else. There was no starter on hole 1 so when groups came off of 9 they would cut in front of the people that had tee times. It was not coordinated well at all.

Only 9 holes open even though it is an 18 hole course

The course was decent in the fairways and tee boxes. the greens were in the worst shape of any time I have played there. very disappointing. there was an unnecessary delay for tee times. 20 minutes behind. slow play on the course but no ranger to be found to make pace of play faster. 5 hour round. Had to wait until 5 minutes after scheduled tee time to get a cart. place seemed very unorganized that day. will not go back unless management does their job better.

Beautiful layout. Very pretty holes. Rough is just that. Enjoyable

Greens were in good condition. Staff is very friendly.

Apparently people are allergic to finding their golf balls because I found nearly a dozen brand new pro v1 just in the rough alone

This place was a great place to play for the price, however the fact that they gave me a cart with duct tape on the seats and the tape ruined my shorts is why this cannot be a great rating I’m not sure who to discuss this with but It’s disappointing for that to have happened

We had to play the back 9 twice, because of maintenance to the front 9.

My first time going and it was good. It rained during my tee time and I only made it through 9 holes because of it. It was a beautiful course though. I wouldn't recommend it for beginners, like myself because there are a lot of par 4s and 5s. But overall i had a great time

We go to Sandwich Hollows quite. We are always looking for the best value bargain. Unfortunately, Sandwich Hollows front 9 was closed due to maintenance issues. The front 9 will be closed for the next 2 to 3 weeks, as they are repairing new cart paths. This is why the pace of play was slow. The course was crowded, and I drove over 100 miles to find this tee time. I could have driven to Springfield and picked out a dozen other course for the same money. I am disappointed, but I’m not given up on golf now.

Interesting layout, fairways and greens were in good shape, but the rough needs some work. Good value for the money.

The greeter was very nice, the staff behind the counter was nice as well and got us out early. The course was in good shape overall. The Tee's, Fairways and Greens were excellent. The rough was very spotty and we had to roll the ball to find grass. The greens were very soft and received the ball well. The green speed was perfect, very quick downhill but slow uphill.

The whole course needs a desperate renovation specially the fairways. The greens are in good condition though although fairways are really bad.

The worst greens that I can remember and I have been playing over 60 years. Slow and bumpy, unless you are putting up hill and have to hit it hard you have little chance of keeping you line.

Can’t beat the price but unless they start cutting greens more often I would not go there again. Not angry, just disappointed. My group quit after nine.
