Terrible Conditions
I've played this course a few times but will not go back anytime soon. Conditions were terrible. Tee boxes were beat up and the greens were lumpy, rock hard, and inconsistent. Can't believe they are charging $90. We couldn't figure out how we got an 11:30 tee time the morning of, but now we know.
Hidden Gem
The conditions of this course were beautiful the layout was great it was just a great course to play. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable time and I would definitely tell friends about playing here. This course will be played at least once a week. It’s a gem!
Nice course in Boston western suburbs
Nice interesting course, moderately challenging, good pace of play, good value for modest fees, very friendly staff. I play 9 holes at 3pm once a week and love it, pay $40 for 9 holes with a cart
Nice elevation changes - slicers beware
Sandy Burr is within 3 miles of Wayland but has much more interesting elevation changes. The course incorporates these to good effect.
Some of the fairways are side by side -- creating the danger of slicing (or hooking) into golfers on a neighboring fairway.
Weekday afternoon rate was reasonable. Weekend seems pricey.
