Great Experience!
My wife and I played Bear Lake Highlands Golf Course. The course was in great shape. Enjoyed putting on the greens. They rolled above average speed and true. It was our first time on the course. We were fooled several times with water in places that we should have seen from the card and failed to check before hitting. Enjoyed talking to the golf pro. He was very helpful and gave insightful information about the course and hole locations.
Great course
The only issue I had was the pace of play, 5hrs+.... Bad day to play there because of a big outing booked in front of us (how would I know) they where so loud and annoying, it was painful.... Not the staffs fault, they were great. I will play it again, hopefully under better circumstances.....
definitely worth playing
The course was in great shape and had some challenging holes. The greens were nice, but some were hard and therefore did not 'hold' approach shots well. However, I would still recommend this course to most any level of player.
Beautiful course!!! A must golf!!!
This course is a must golf course!!! Beautiful and challenging!
Great track!
Beautiful Layout - course condition is awesome. Quiet and relaxing - all types of wildlife around. Best value in the North
Course is in great shape
Very nice course that is well maintained. Definitely will return to play again.
Surprising
Very well maintained. Hidden gem of a course. If you love great views and pristine golf courses don't drive by this course
2nd time back
I don't live in the area where this course is, but visited it last year and wanted to go back. It is fun and friendly with a nice variety of holes - great value at golf now prices I paid.
Wonderful Golf Course
The staff was real helpful and friendly. We had a great time on a great golf course. We will golf again at Bear Lake Highlands often. Thanks to all the staff for making our day a wonderful time.
Wwell maintained
Have played this course for many years and found it to be in the best shape in years..
high winds today
with the wind I was scoring around even. against the wind, 4/5 holes were nearly impossible
Great value, challenging course
Bear Lake is a great value. The course offers lots of challenges: water, woods, sand, doglegs and blind shots that require thought and shot making skills. The greens were immaculate and the staff courteous and helpful. I was told that July 5 was the busiest day the course had seen all year, yet I finished 18 just under four hours. I suggest calling the course for pricing before booking on GolfNow, as it was actually a few dollars less than the 13% savings listed here.
Pleasantly surpised by a very nice course.
Nice wide open fairways, nice greens and overall course layout. Will definitely play it again when we travel to Manistee, MI.
Good course
Overall a good round of golf, well maintained grounds and greens looked and played great. Defiantly some challenging holes also.
great northern golf
My wife and I played a quick round on a sunny thursday afternoon. It was the first time playing it and I'll definately be back. Theres water and danger on many holes but I didn't feel like it was a terribly hard course, my wife only lost a couple balls and she's lousy. The course was very well maintained, staff was very friendly.
Long and challanging
Nice long course, very challanging for my ability. Friendly mgmt. and patrons.
Has a variety of scenic features.
The course has many ups and downs with some blind shots making some holes more difficult than others. It is fun to play and is laid out to enjoy a variety of scenic features.
Beautiful layout - Challenging course! Course condition is awesome.
