I love this course and conditions were excellent. Challenging layout and challenging greens. If this golf course would address the issue with some slow groups it would really improve the enjoyment of playing golf there. The front nine was played in 1.5 hours but the back nine took 2.5 hours due to a extremely slow foursome in front of me

This is my local course that I play most frequently. Very nice clubhouse with a swimming pool, restaurant/bar pro-shop and simulator. Staff is friendly and helpful. Course is always in excellent condition and approachable from the right tee. Tree-lined with elevation changes and nice views - the greens are very large and tend to run fast once the morning dew burns off. There are some tight driving holes but if you are hitting reasonably straight you wont be losing too many golf balls. At times the pace of play can be slow and they could stand to have a ranger.

Always enjoy this challenging deep in the woods course almost every hole is a dogleg or some form of challenge beautiful forest and lake views

George Young is our favorite golf course in the UP. Staff is always friendly and the course is in great shape. Hope to golf there again soon!

I enjoy playing this course. It is a nice challenging layout with lots of unique holes. Conditions were very good. We were behind a foursome on the front that was very slow. Eventually, they let me play through.

Pace of play was less than 4 hours and we weren’t being pushed or pushing any in front of us!

Young’s give us all sorts of challenges. Fairways

are generous! Greens are large yet undulating

and quick! Dry days you can hit the green and turn that smile upside down when your ball rolls off the

sides. I was above the hole often- not good.

Advice? Play it safe and play to the front of the greens here!

Very nice course, but was very slow pace of play! We played 14 holes and quit, we were on the course 4hours and had 4 holes to go. The way it was going, it would have been over 5 and half hour round. TO LONG!
