Nice course
We had a great time. This was our first round of the season so we were looking for a course in good condition that was not super challenging. This was perfect. The pace of play was great. We only had 2 so we did a little but of waiting but not bad considering it was very busy.
Nice country course
I have played here for many years and enjoy playing & practicing here. The course layout is nice and the condition was very good also.
They have a nice grass driving range plus 2 practice chipping greens & a putting green.
George is very nice in the clubhouse.
I would recommend playing here. :)
Fun time
For the most part, the course is in real good shape and we enjoy playing here usually once a year.
Too many scramblers
I played this course three times , each time on a weekday after 12:00pm. On each occasion I spent long periods of time behind multiple groups of scramblers playing from the forward tees.. ( 4 to 8) some allow you to play through, others do not. The waiting is compounded by the scramblers looking for miss hit balls. I also have had to clean the road dust from the parking lot off of my cart prior to starting my round. The carts are parked adjacent to the gravel parking lot. With that said, I enjoy playing the course and it’s layout. I wish there was a Ranger to speed up the pace of play.
This place needs a Marshall
This was my third time golfing Briaridge. The parking lot is in paved, which in itself isn’t a problem. But the cart corral is located adjacent to the parking lot. This results in the golf carts being covered with road dust and dirt. I have to take my towel, wet it and wipe down the cart. On two occasions as a single golfer I was held up by groups of 6-8 “Scramblers.” You can tell a lot about how a course is run by the number of golfers you see wearing tee shirts. I love the course layout but, I won’t be returning to golf here.
Excellent course pace of play leaves much to be desired.
I loved the course, however; The course needs a Ranger to monitor pace of play. The locals seem to think it’s ok to play in groups of six or more as Scramblers. They are perfectly content looking for lost balls and hitting two off the forward tees while you wait and watch. I plan on spending my money elsewhere in the future. I play 3 to 4 days on weekdays to avoid situations like these.
Slow Play
Went there on a Friday mid-morning and there was a group in front of us playing a two man scramble. It took us 2.5 hours to play the first nine holes.
