Course in good shape
Despite all of the rain we have had, the course was in overall good shape. The greens and fairways are in very good shape. The rough is very long, but considering the rain in should be expected. The sand traps need work and some of the tees could be better maintained. Overall, well worth the price
Closed course
Normally this course is good playing. However, this time the closed the course to me even though people were teeing off at the time at 1pm. No rain in siite and no explanation as to why the closed. I now lost my $4.95 service fee. Is there any way to get this back?
Thanks
Mike
Better choices
This was my first time at this course. I am no t a professional, but I have played enough different course to comfortably state that this is probably the most confusing and poorly layed out course I have ever played. There were not always definitive cart paths to the next holes. I found myself confused on multiple occasions as to where the next tee box was. On some holes the ball washer was over 20 feet away from the tee boxes. A diagram of hole layout would have been helpful at each hole. The parking lot was in total disrepair. The course itself however was in good condition as were the greens and the staff was friendly. Overall, there a better options in my opinion
Overbooked
Pace of play was terrible due to the course being way overbooked. Can’t complain too much, paid $25 for 18 on a Sunday morning for a solid course.
Our tee time is always in the middle of an outing. Start half hr late. Pace is a snail pace. There were 3 fivesomes and 1 sixsome out there. They dont care at the clibhouse. No ranger. Very frustratimg round.
Nice day and course follow the signs
Our first trip to this course and was nice, just have to pay attention to the signs to follow where the next hole is located.
Course was in good shape and plenty of holes to play.
Worth it on hot deal price only
Course has a lot of potential, especially being that it has 45 holes would be perfect if the courses were a little better. The rough is too long, I usually cut courses slack because of worker shortages but these roughs were just cut(you could tell by the clippings) and the grass was still at least 4”-5” long. Between me and my playing partner we probably lost at least 30 golf balls today playing all 45 holes. Most of which were probably only a few yards off the fairway. Most people playing here aren’t professional and don’t have spotters. To put a flag over your ball as soon as it lands. It was very frustrating and slows pace of play way down with everyone out there looking for the ball on every shot. Also greens had grass clippings clumped up everywhere. I think they leave the roughs long to sell the way over priced golf balls they have inside. I understanding being penalized if you hit a ball 30-40 yards off the fairway but to not be able to find your ball when you just barely miss the fairway is crazy to me.
Double charges
Went there after booking a tee time paid on line. When we showed him the booking he double charged my friend and said we didn’t pay online. Finally got re funded. To many other nice courses in the area to deal with this kinda thing. Will never play here again
Best Bang for Your Buck
You can’t find a better course for the money. Conditions are great, nice fairways and greens. Bunkers could use a little work but overall a great course.
Fun in the rain
After being ruined twice during this holiday weekend, (9 hole for 3 hours, ouch!) I finally found a course gave me a chance to play a complete round with good pace.
Tee time at 9:20 AM, and finished hole 18 at 12:30 PM, I couldn’t be more happy, especially the course is maintained in a very good shape.
The temperature is great from playing golf, and a little bit of rain on and off made the game a little bit more challenging, since I don’t normally get a chance to play in the rain, and finally could bring out my raining gloves to play golf!
If it’s gonna rain again tomorrow, I probably will book a tee time again.
