Good Municipal Course
For the price, conditions were great, pace was fine at 2.5hrs. Fun course.
Best Bang for your buck
I’ve been playing this course since my younger days and it’s always maintained its beauty. Large body’s of water birds and beautiful trees. Easy course with a few tricky holes. Top three course in Michigan for me.
Slow play nice course
Followed a league that putted everything out. Resulted in very slow play. Carts are older. Course was in fair condition. Greens were slow. Bunkers were good. Price was great.
Hidden Gem
I’ve been playing here since I was a young boy. The course has maintained its elegance throughout the years. By far my favorite 9 to play for less than 40. Quick fun and well maintained
Course quality improving; starter/greeter would be great
Course appears to have improved over the last few years quality wise, which is excellent! Greens rolled a little slower (early May), but they were all consistent. For a 9-hole, muni, it exceeds expectations imo.
Upside/suggestion I would make is to have a greeter or an organizer for better pacing.

Heaven on earth, pace of play was perfect, staff amazing course outstanding!
Almost a muni to rave about
When talking muni’s this one has so much potential. Often times when I post hole 7 and it’s gorgeous Southfield skyscraper backdrop to social media, friends will comment “Chicago?!?” or “Where is this?” and it always brings me to joy to reply letting them know it’s just a muni in my backyard. Over the years, especially after beech woods closed, the course has drastically improved. There is still some improvement needed but overall it has changed quite a bit. Looking forward to its progression.
Customer service
The customer service was not just bad but close to awful. The two men there need classes on customer service. I would only play there for the 500 yards par 5
