Romeo Golf & Country Club - South Course

You can get a nice deal on this course quite often it seems, I was quite surprised by the quality of the course. It's not overly difficult, its quite wide open the greens are OK (not terribly fast) but it can be an enjoyable round if the course isn't backed up

I would play Romeo Golf course at least once a week. I enjoyed playing the course and it was my first pick when booking on Golfnow.com. Unfortunately after the 3 incidents of the rude owners, I realized it was this was not the course for me. I was disappointed, but I refuse to be subject to owners who act like they are doing you a favor because you booked on Golfnow.com. One instance when I arrived a few minutes late for my tee time. There was a line up on the tee box of hole one. I asked if I could go off the back nine and was informed that it was closed for fertilizing. There was discussions of why patrons were not told ahead of time and there was a reasonable answer regarding they need to do right before rain (rain is not predictable). I asked if I could cancel and she said I would have to take that up with golfnow.com, but she was definitely going to inform them I was late for my tee time (no refunds for not making tee time). Five minutes!!! This is very poor customer service! This was the 3rd rude encounter, which caused them to lose a customer.

Course is not long but makes up for it with small landing areas on some of the holes, proper club selection is a premium
