Paw Paw Lake Golf Club

We played this course several years ago and really enjoyed it. Finally got to come back. The greens and fairways were in beautiful shape. Several holes required ired smart shot making. Greens putted true and above average speed. Putts missed were my problem. It was cart path only. Very enjoyable round.

Needs senior tees. Par threes were around 200 yards, too long

Pace of play was in general “very slow”, with (2) sets of two-somes jumping holes (not in order), making it very frustrating.

Love this course. Relatively short but challenging holes. Beautiful views on many of the holes.

Love this course- some holes you can see beautiful Paw Paw lake. It's not a long course but is still challenging. Gazebo bar after holes 7 and 12 is great!

We were the first out on a Tuesday morning. 3 hrs for 18. Shorter course on average. After first couple holes it gets a little more challenging with water, dog legs and blind drives. Great small town course and you can’t beat the price. Our second round was mid day, 4 hrs for that round. View of lake is nice and there’s a place to get a beer and a bite to eat that you pass twice while playing.

Don’t let the first couple holes fool you. While it is not a long course, it can be fun with blind shots and water hazards. It’s a good small town course. Definitely worth the money.. It looks like they were redoing some holes or some tea boxes while we were there so we will be back.

Overall much enjoyed this course. We got there nice and early and had a wide open course which for us made the morning all the more enjoyable. Not a perfect course but a great value play for a quick round.

This is a great round to break up the day from being out on the water. You get to see the swimming hole on the 5th tee box which is fun. Gazebo is obviously a big highlight after 7 or 8 on the front. Weird layout at the beginning on the front as you start with 2 long par 3 and then see 2 more par 3 on the same size. I could have used some additional knowledge on the 3rd and 4th as they are opposite doglegs and unsure just where to go. Could use some tree trimming on those 2 holes. Looks like they were doing some work on 1 of the holes.

It's a fun course, conditions were good and you can spray it a bit on select holes.

The Paw Paw Lake course is in the best shape it's been in for several years. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. They are re-doing the sand traps. Be aware though, the layout is tricky if you don't pay attention to the signs. There is a fun gazebo bar you can stop at after holes 7 and 12 for a hot dog and cold beer. :)
