Fun family owned track
Fun family owned track.
Course in very nice shape. My only suggestion would be to update the yardages on the score card. Many are overstated, not that big of deal as my golf watch showed the true yardages from the tees we played from. Some yardages can be overstated by anywhere from 20 to 80 yards on several of the par 4 and par 5 holes.
Very cool tiki styled hut on paw paw lake that can be easily visited after hole 7 and hole 12. They offer dogs and have both non alcohol and adult drinks available.
Looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon this a good place to do it.
Great course for mid handicapper...
Play Paw Paw Lake several times a year. It good for the wife and I and we enjoy the course. Reasonable with great people working there.
Be aware: golfers appear after 7th hole bar
Nice course; there is a bar after the 7th hole but unfortunately foursomes stop to sit and have a few beers and then cut back into the rotation. It’s bad enough when one foursome does that but when we played that day two foursomes we’re together and squeezed in between us and the group ahead of us. Needless to say we spent a lot of time waiting after that. The gazebo bar is great tho to grab a beer or snack to go.
Nice old fashioned golf course
Paw paw lake is a very nice family owed establishment. The course is in very nice shape and greens rolled well.
There is some elevation changes and the course is packed into a relatively small tract of land.
My only concern is the scorecard yardages are considerably over estimated on a few holes.
They also have a nice tiki type bar that is located on the water of paw paw lake. They offer dogs and beverages and it is located so you can pop in between the 7th and 8th hole. And then again between 12th green and 13th tee box.
It’s a very nice golf course that is great to play on weekdays before leagues start.
Beautiful course, beautiful day
We played here not long ago when the course was really wet and sections of the cart paths were underwater. Luckily today the course had dried out some and the cart paths were driveable. Turned out to be a beautiful day and the course was not crowded at all.
Wet day.
Because of recent rains- Cart path only which would have been fine if areas of the cart paths weren’t under water. They need to fill in with gravel the low spots in the paths. Also, when course open seems like rest rooms should be too. Love the course tho- beautiful lake views.
Not a 4 star
Course has some interesting holes and some just plain ones. Probably ideal for family golf, but overall it is not, I repeat, it not a 4 star which lead us to book a tee time there.. Whoever ranked it as a 4 star probably has not play some of the other 4 star courses listed on GolfPass.
An absolute blast!
I played this course with some family while we were on vacation in the area. East to find and a great value for the money. The gazebo bar is available at multiple points in the round and is definitely worth spending a few moments and grabbing a drink!
Good course
Well places hazards. Lots of fun shots. Only down side. Tee Boxes were a little beat up. But great other than that

Always a fun day. They've got a great lakeside bar after the 7th and 12th. Weird layout in the front 9, but it makes it fun. Highly recommend it for the value alone.
Challenging short course. Don't forget to stop at the gazebo!
A Challenging Course
This course is very challenging. Narrow fairways, postage stamp greens and very sloped greens. However, it is a beautiful course and fun to play.
