Greenhaven Golf Course

The greens are always in good shape, great value, great staff, good pace, and now that construction is complete easy to get to.

Greens were cut very short and had lots of patchy spots with no grass.

Worst round of golf by far. Got paired with two guys that were slow and wouldn’t shut up. No edict at all. Peed out in the open I. Every hole. Apparently they were memebers lol. The dude was wearing a safety vest. The greens where terrible punched. The pace of play was even worse these two guys where so slow me and my partner teed of first every hole while they where still gabbing. What made it worse the ranger who was all of 13 Tells is to speed up. And I point at the clown in the safety vest. And the ranger that safety vest said we where slow. I picked up my ball and we left on hole seven . Ive played this course around 20 times in last couple years and it get worse every time. The staff is terrible the trash is alway over flowing on every hole not a-beverage cart to be found. Never again. Don’t play this place it’s the worst.

Got paired with a dude Woody. Wore a safety vest and safety hat. Wouldn’t shut up talked the whole time absolutely no edict. Slow hits three shots off every hole. So slow the ranger who was all of thirteen came up and told us to get going. This woody clown blames me and my partner for being slow. Lol. The greens where crap and terrible. Woody would also take frequent Lisa breaks every hole. I’m done playing here this place is a crap hole.

I booked a12:46 tee time and was paired with three other individuals. After two holes, tee boxes had two groups on them waiting to tee off. The fivesome playing directly in front of us would wait for the group ahead of them was on the green before teeing off. When we called the clubhouse to complain, we were told someone would be out, but no one came. Took almost 3 hours to play nine holes. Quit after front nine because there were three groups waiting to tee off at the tenth tee. I have played at this course for over 20 years, and in the last five, it has become more important to them to put as many people on the course, and not care about the golfing experience. Do not waste your time at Greenhaven. My experience is the norm, not the exception.

We scheduled a late tee time, and were hoping to get in 18. When we arrived, there was only one cart available, and the tee times were running late. There had been some sort of event earlier in the day, which presumably set things behind. The greens were torn up, with lots of foot drags, and unrepaired pitch marks. It has been a few years since I’ve played here, and I’ll think twice before booking again.

Course is in pretty good shape. I left after 3:20 into a the 12th hole. Talked with the beer beverage cart girl and she said a minimum five hour round is normal here. Place was not that busy not sure why it was so slow but no one there seem to care and some of the other golfers were frustrated but said it is getting to be normal here.
GPS on the car it said it was on pace to be a six hour and 34 minute round.

Outside the fact that they were way to many people there at middle of the day on a work day for golf. The staff and people who worked were incredibly rude. I almost got hit once and for the rest of the day the pace was like talking a golf club hit ball run after it, and hit it. I did not play golf, a played a version of speed golf that has no regard to people who golf. Also, at end of the round, golf carts were all over the place, and one person decided to cut in the way from where I was going to drop of ball. To many spots on golf course, even on fairway where you can lose ball. Which is funny because they have a tracking system GPS in kart. Will not do again. That was hard to stomach.

Rude staff and people, felt they owned the world. I almost got hit, and I felt I was doing a race form of golf. The karts were everywhere afterwards, we were cut off of bringing it back to station. Never going back.

The reason I tried it is just because it is close to my moms house while I visited her from out of town. But I was surprised at how much I liked it. It’s not long but still a good challenge. In good shape. Good price I’ll be back!

Had a great time other than the pace of play was very slow. Really enjoyed the layout.

The greens were a little spotty and uneven. Fairways were bare in a number of areas
