A good place to play
Being a Saturday, I expected a slow pace. The rangers did their best to keep it moving. The staff was very friendly and the course was well maintained. I look forward to playing here again.
Fun day, VERY rough fairways
The golf course is decent play, but some of the. Fairways are fo rough and bumpy that I actually strained my back. They really need to do something about that. Plus one of the holes is under construction and you get screwed out of playing a good hole. It’s been “under construction” for almost 2 years now.
For most courses at this price you’re going to have shorter par three’s and most par fours too.
The group I was in had to get prodded by staff to get a move on, (we weren’t aware that we were causing issues, the holes are quite spread), which I think is indicative of a course that is trying to get everyone to have the best experience possible.
Two of my group of four were late (kill me) and the ranger, while obviously displeased, made jokes and comments instead of getting nasty or mean.
Oh, I also broke 100 for the first time here, couldn’t neglect to mention that :)
I will not play here again. My friend bought a Groupon and it only cost us $20 ea. to play. The course was in terrible shape. Fairways were bumpy and we had to drive very slow to avoid bouncing out of the cart. We showed up an hour early to check in and warm up. We were told we had to wait for golf carts because "we were too early". We walked out of "proshop" and there were 8+ carts sitting out front.
This course is not worth it. The starter on the 1st tee was nice and told some funny jokes. But besides that, this place is an absolute dog track. Will not be returning.
Well forested. Rough terrain.
Much better to walk this course, the bumpy ground and cart paths will shake your spine and beat your kidneys. I liked the layout and the tighter fairways. The greens were in really good shape for having been recently aerated. Still, I can't recommend the course for my (mostly) elderly golf buddies who have to ride.
Love this course.. staff is great. Great value. Plus you can find endless amounts of balls
Horrible customer service
This place is a Joke appsalutly worst customer service I have ever had from any course hard bumpy course I promise you I will never golf here again and I will tell as many people about my poor rotten horrible Experience that I had.
Very poorly managed. And the front desk sure needs a lesson in sales and customer service!
Great basic course
I been playing this course for at least 30 years. Its nothing fancy, but has challenging holes and always in pretty decent shape. They always seem to have great people working there. And for me and my golf addicted friends they always give us a fair price on a second round!
I usually am impartial regarding courses, however, this course was awful. I will not play here again. Greens, sand and tee boxes are in terrible condition, the fairway was in worse but gives you a nice roll if you don't hit the huge bumps (not a links course, why are they there?). After hole 3 I realized I overpayed. Too many small par 4s, most are barely 300 FROM THE TIPS, where I play from. I wish I could get a refund but at least I shot a decent score. NEVER AGAIN and definitely not recommending this course to anyone unless they are first timers and don't care about any of what I just typed above.
