Pace of play
4 stars on pace of play because we had a foursome that was very slow in front of us and never allowed us to play through as a twosome, we could have been done an hour sooner and off the course for the single behind us.
Nice Fast Greens
This is a beautiful course with a very nice but challenging layout. Carved through mature woods with a couple of holes along the river makes for a scenic layout.
We played this Saturday over Labor Day weekend so several families with kids were playing which was the reason for pace of play close to 4.5 hours plus.
I would have given the course 5 stars for condition as the fairways and greens were in great shape but many of the tee boxes were needing repair.
These were the fastest greens I've played all year on the 30 or more courses I've played, but they rolled great and true.
Yes i would definitely play this course again as it is a very good value for the price

Shorter but challenging course.
Wendy, the manager, could be greater! Accommodating, kind, a great cook and always cheerful! Staff is also great.

fast, undulating greens
Have played this course several times in the past. Fall golf so I expected there would be leaves. Which is no big deal. Was a cloudy day, so no glare from the leaves, if this makes sense. Greens were fast and in good shape. Greens also had undulation making putting challenging. Fairways good. A suggestion/opinion that you could make holes #4 and #18 into par 5's, so the course would be a par 72 instead of the existing par 70. These two holes, in my opinion, are/were the most challenging because of the creek, locations of the green that are elevated. Not saying this in a bad way. This way, you do not have to make any physical changes to the course itself.
Great course
Just a really nice course. It’s challenging but fun. The greens are in great condition, as is the entire course. The manager, Wendy, couldn’t be more friendly and kind. And they have great food! Highly recommend!!
fast, undulating greens
Course in good shape. two of the par 4's could be a par 5, especially #18. This would make the course a par 72 instead of the existing par 70. Greens were challenging and fun to putt on. It was the 1st time my partner played this course and he enjoyed it. Good value for the money.
Golf Now price of $25 was a no brainer
Really liked the course. Tough for seniors tho. I'm 65 with an 8 handicap and found opening hole over 400 yard par4 long. 2 other holes over 400 including last at 426. I'm sure if I played the Senior tees I wouldn't have felt beat up like I did. I'll be back
Good Course for the Price
1st time playing this course and was pleasantly surprised of the course conditions at this price. Plenty of challenges are provided with mature woods statically placed water and great greens. The greens were soft and held nicely but rolled fast and true. Lots of undulations and several crowned greens made a good challenge
