Only in December!
This was our first time at this course. It is a fine course for 9 holes and considering this is December 5th in MN!
It was good to get out and do something during this year of discontent.
Great staff, fun course
My second time at Brightwood and both times the staff has been friendly and helpful! The course is well kept and fun but challenging with small greens to make sure you improve your accuracy!
Basic par 3 course
Decent play and fairly typical public par 3 course. All amenities closed due to Covid19.
A alright par 3 short course
I have played this short course a couple of times now and to its credit, the conditions have gotten better over the last 2 years. Do not go any time close to opening, the conditions will not be nice. Mid to end of season the grass is decent and its playable. Clubhouse is fine, small driving range and 1 practice green. They offer carts although you might as well walk for the cost savings. Some of the holes are very short, if you want to tune up your wedges or putting this place would be a good fit. Don't plan to play anything longer than an 8 iron though. Pace has always been fine, staff is average. It is a city course that seems neglected at times. Its worth it to drive to Island Lake and play there instead, if you want a short course that is maintained.
