They are doing some updating. While it was a maze to get to due to the construction of the freeway, it was worth it. Theyve upgraded their golf carts and the signage on the tee boxes
Winter golf in Michigan
You can always count on Rackham to open up for golf in the winter if the weather permits. On December 28th only a few courses were available and Rackham was in pretty good shape all things considered!
Staff was friendly as always and on the ball.
Great Season Finale
The course was in fantastic condition. Speed of play was great for a weekend. And with a birdie on 17, after a couple of double bogeys early on via some poor execution on my part. This was a great way to finish the year.

What a great historic Donald Ross course! Location next to Zoo is perfect and what a layout!
Love Rackhams large greens. If you can putt well there you can putt anywhere

This course is always fun and fair but busy
Good value though
Another Great Round!
I played my second round at this course. The course is in really good condition. The pace of play was a little bit. Slow and the ranger could’ve been moving people along better but all in all we still had a great round and really enjoyed our time out there. Will definitely be back.
Terrible staff
Why even book a tee time when the starters not gonna honor it. Booked 3pm tee time, check in at 2:45, get in line to tee off. Starter comes over and tells me I can’t tee off until 3:26 “cause my group already teed off” mind you the 2:44 tee time was on the box(I checked in directly behind them) waiting to tee off. do not recommend unless you want 6 hour rounds and slightly above decent conditions. Place has really gone down hill fast in last 3 years, sad sad sight.
