There are four championship golf courses available at Garland Resort in Lewiston. The characteristics they all share are the great conditions but that is where the similarities end. They each offer a unique round, especially the Reflections Course, which has plenty of variety in the hole design. The opening holes of the course begin with intimidating elevation changes and dramatically rolling fairways, which both make an appearance on the back side. It's some of the most extreme terrain of any of Garland Resort's golf courses. There are also several tricky doglegs to contend with and water hazards come into play several times as well. The course will test you with some challenging holes but it finishes with a scenic, downhill par 3 that gives you the opportunity to end with a good score.

Reflection on Reflections
Played Reflections after enjoying some time at the outdoor bar while we waited for someone who was running late. Very playable for all skill levels. Blue tees were the back tees and don't play super long, but long enough to use all clubs in bag and put some thought into your tee shots. Many strategically placed trees that force you to think about them before selecting a club. Some holes require a driver while some just a 4 iron to get into good position. Greens were in great shape. Many large greens. Course not marked with yardage too well. For sure is easier than the monarch, but still can be tough. Very enjoyable course to play. A few breather holes make it fun to play.

Play Reflections but take bug spray
Bothered by TONS of gnats on the course, and greens were fairly slow. Otherwise really enjoyed the round.
Reflections in July
Garland has some of the best courses in all of Michigan but I do have a few concerns. They have the worse nat issue. There are millions of nats flying all around your head the entire time and they are on every course. Another thing, we never saw a beer cart except right after the first hole. Finally, we paid $41on golf now but the normal rate was something like $88 per person. The greens fees are ridiculous. There is no one out there playing. I don't understand some of these courses that charge top dollar and have no players. This is a $50 course. I would never play any of the courses here for more than $50. I understood now why there is no one at the resort. It is a golf ghost town.

The Garland experience, as in the past has never disappointed me or my friends.
It has everything you would expect from a great course.

Outstanding track with excellent dining (before ans after golf). Course was EMPTY and my wife and I played in just over 3 hours. Will definitely return again, especially if GolfNow continues to offer rounds here for $25!
Amazing Garland
I golfed the reflections course and was amazed at the beauty and the condition of the course. Ive golfed 9 different courses so far since April and none of them are as well kept as Garland. The rolling hardwood fairways and lush green grass and the best looking and playing greens ive ever been on make this a must play top ten. If you don't golf this course you are truly missing out on one of Michigan's must beautiful and challenging golf courses
