Greens Very Fast
Course is tight with lots of errant balls flying past so you have to be alert. Course was in good shape except that the greens were extremely fast; probably needed a bit more watering.
Played 9 in just 2 hours on a Sunday; pace of play was great.
Bad tee times
We learned that they spread the tee times apart by 2 min and the couple in front of us didn’t even have a tee time. This caused us to have to wait at least 10 min at each hole. Other than that, the course is in great shape and would golf there again for that reason.
Not bad but marshalls are not doing their jobs
The course was nice but during Sunday play, Marshalls were no where to be found. A group of One (1), was ahead of us and he would hit three balls every time and slowed up play for everyone behind him. I called the pro shop but it was never addressed., I would play this course if I had no other options.
Extremely slow play -- No Marshal on a Sunday
We got behind a single player who hit at least 3 balls on every shot. There was no marshal even though this was a Sunday. Play was backed up on every single hole. We finally said something to the player, obviously a beginner who was unaware of golf etiquette and oblivious to the golfers waiting behind.
Need to have a marshal on the course when play is busy as on weekends. The role of marshal should not default to the other golfers.
Great challenging 9 hole course!
I've played on some 9 hole courses. The problem with many of them is that they aren't large enough to use the driver. Not this one. You get to use the driver, 3 wood and long irons. Some tight fairways with many trees, but enough room to rescue yourself. No sand, but has some water hazards to keep you honest. Fairways and greens were in great shape.. even with the stl drought. Golfnow had deal for $46 for 2 players with cart. Great value for this course. Will play again.
Fun Course
Nice combination of easy and challenging Par 4s. I like the terrain, hills, some water and no sand. Fairways in great shape and greens well maintained. I will play again. Fast round in cart--only 1.5 hour
This is an excellent 9 hole course
the course is kept in perfect condition every time im there, they had a ton of renovations done recently and the staff is always pleasant. I work in creve Coeur and like to play here at least once a week. I have been to a lot of city courses and this is by far the best one I have ever been to. it is inexpensive and easy to book a tee time online. This is my go-to course and every time I invite someone to play they have nothing but positive things to say about the experience.
Great municipal course.
Love this course , always in great shape .They made some major improvements to the course last year which has made it more enjoyable. Wish they could have a snack bar or lounge on the premises, but plenty of options in the area.
Fun 9 Hole Course
For a municipal owned course, the course is kept up pretty darn good. The greens did not have any bare spots due to the summer heat and dry spell.
Due to hills, there are some holes where your drive goes into blind areas. A few water hazards but not bad to hit over. No sand traps on course.
Never seen a marshal on the course but pace of play has always been good.
The golf course is in spectacular shape! It is truly impressive how great the shape is, especially with the conditions we have had this year thus far. A great value always, but now more than ever. You can tell the maintenance staff has been doing a ton of work/projects in the last couple months!
Great course
This is a great course to play its only 9 holes but you can always play another 9 or play 2 balls the pace can be a little slow
A nice little muni
Good 9 hole golf course. Reasonably priced, good condition and a challenging set of holes. The clubhouse shares the space with an ice skating rink so don't expect much other than a small check in desk and a cooler with drinks. The dude behind the counter is nice enough and the pace of play when I played (mid to late afternoon/weekday) was excellent. This is a good golf course to get in a quick 9 holes during the week. I'm not too sure I'd go out of the way to play it but it is certainly fun with a variety of holes, good condition and a fair pricing.
Best muni course in St Louis
From the new cart paths to the great greens this course is a gem.
The city has made an investment here and it shows.
The hills and slopes make it a challenge every time I play.
Thank you Creve Coeur!
Nice place to play a quick 9
Nice course, pretty good shape and a good layout. Good pace of play on a weekday afternoon. Nice dude behind the counter. Not much to the clubhouse.
Great course
Course was in excellent condition from the tee boxes to the fairways to the greens. Staff very friendly! Great round of golf!
Perfect weather
Play backed up on a couple of holes but overall the pace of play was good. Course is tight so one has to be alert to errant balls coming from other holes. Course was in good shape.
Fun Course
This is a nice 9 hole course. There are some really challenging holes, but the course was in very good condition.
One of the better 9 hole courses in St. Louis
I have played Creve Coeur Golf Course several times and would rank it in the top 3 for 9 hole courses in St. Louis. It is a short but somewhat challenging course with narrow fairways and several undulating greens. There are no sand traps on the course, but several holes require shots over water. The clubhouse and practice facilities are very minimal. The main concern I had with the course is its condition seems to be somewhat deteriorating. There were several brown patches in the fairway and the greens were very bumpy. Hopefully this improves throughout the early summer, but it is concerning given that the peak of the golf season has yet to start this year. Nonetheless, I would recommend the course if you want a quick 9 hole round to challenge your short game and accuracy.
