Raisin River Golf Club - West Course

This used to be a 36 hole facility and both have closed. West was the shorter course and had the smaller more reserved greens.

Really enjoyed the course. Greens were in good shape, but their mowing machine has a problem in that it cuts a little deep on one blade and it scalped the green in places. They still rolled fairly well. The bartender, Abby, was very nice, and so was Red the guy running the pro shop. All in all a great day at the course.

Hit the course after a rain storm. Wasn’t too wet and was maintained well.

Raisin river used to be a great golf course, I understand they have been sold. I was shocked as the condition of golf course has drastically changed. Not for the good.

It was in great shape, not real interesting a lot of back and forth. We were treated very well.

course was in as good shape as ever. greens putted true. wasn't busy on a Wed. so we (2 players) finished 18 in about 2:45.

Raisin West is a good course to play. It has always been a good challenge without being unfriendly. Sorry it will be lost to the expansion of medical facilities.

Had an excellent time at this course, Layout is simple, and I enjoyed having multiple Par 3's to practice my iron tee shots, every hole makes you anxious to tee off. Staff was fantastic at welcoming me to their course, will definitely be back.

By far the best course and staff downriver, course is always in great shape and the greens are always in tip top shape!

It's also one of the prettiest courses you will find around. Between the two courses the east plays longer and has some better views but both are a lot of fun to play.

I've enjoyed some of the best times of my life with my dad on this course over the years, if it goes away I will truly miss it.

Absolutely loved it!! Great well maintained course with a very witty staff. Everything was in great shape! Greens weren't real hard to figure out but they were fast and true. Thanks for a wonderful day! FUN!!

Course let us on before our actual tee time. This helped us out to make out next engagement. For the price and course, could not pass it up. Finished in a little over 3 hours. Would definitely do it again.

I enjoyed this course. It's not hard but offers a challenge

Course was in good shape and a lot of fun to play fairly well maintained

Enjoyed the course and the conditions were very good. Par 5's are rather short and all are reachable in two. Water does not really come into play but there is a lot of sand both in the fairways and around the greens. My only complaint is that although the greens held the ball well and rolled very true they were a bit on the slow side. I would like this course a lot more if the greens were faster. This is a course to build confidence as it is not very difficult.

First time I played here, loved it! We played after all the rain we had, and this course was in great condition.

Golfed the west course and was impressed with the overall condition of the course, especially the greens. Lots of traps here, so if you like the challenge of avoiding bunkers, it'll be right up your alley. They kept the bunkers in good fluffy shape through most of the holes, but did not attend to those in the later holes. 6 par threes make the course seem a little shorter than it really is, but it was still a fair layout.

Only played 9 holes due to rain but enjoyed the course up to that point. Course was in good shape and the greens were very good.

I started playing this course when I was in high school, 20 some years later and it's still great! I love this course! Course is in extremely good shape!!
