Love this course
This is my favorite course in the Kansas City area. Always treated superb by the staff, the course is always in great shape and the greens are fast but not punishingly so. They have removed a huge amount of needless trees and brush over the past couple of years that really open up the sightlines to other fairways and also allows more wind to circulate, especially around the large pond near the 7th green. Easily the best value for the frugal golfer and wonderful fall colors because of all the mature trees.

Greens were fast and smooth! Fairways good. Staff very helpful.
Shirkeys
I would call before you play. We played the front is good time but quit after 11 on the back as the High School was playing and it would have taken us 3 hours to play behind them. Quite honestly they were very slow.
Rain check
I booked a tee time for 4, one of our party was unable to play because of a work issue,
Is it possible to receive a rain check.

Good course for the money
Pain in the butt to find your ball even if on the fairway but fun course overall and very straight course as well.
Like the Layout
Normally the Course is in good shape, but it was below par this time. Fairways were high, almost like 1st cut. Greens were fast as usual, but not in good shape, looked like some disease had set in.
Worst I have seen
I come from Texas once year to play golf inKC and usually play here . Today it looked like it is not been maintained. Fairways need to be mowed and rough was unbearable. We lost balls in the fairway as well as the first cut. Tee box were rough and unkept. Not going to play again here . Meanwhile board members are in the clubhouse laughing while they should be on a mower.
Lawnmower should come out of retirement
Tee box, driving range and rough were in terrible condition.
