Great track for a quick outing
This course is in fantastic shape for mid-summer. Always some challenging shots to be had. There are often a lot of walkers but it doesn't really affect the pace of play. 2 hour 10 minutes for the round. I'll play this course any time of year because I know it's always going to be in good condition.
Old Gem
I used to play Ruth many years ago. It became very fun down and neglected. Since then, they’ve obviously pumped money into it. While the layout is the same, the tee boxes were enlarged and are in great condition. The fairways and greens were in good shape too. I’ll definitely be playing at Ruth again.
Kicked off for being late
Exactly 10 min late due to traffic. Told I was not allowed to play. No accommodations or flexibility. Bold for a mini course I’ve played many times. Won’t go back.
Well manicured
Some greens could use help but overall course looks good. Pace of play - terrible! 2.45 hrs for 9
great staff. Great course
Best muni in the area. Always open even in colder temperatures. Course is kept up very well
Always a pleasure to play
The grounds crew is amazing, the course is always in great shape, even in December. This is a municipal course and it seems golfers repair ball marks more than some other courses in the area.
Unfriendly Manager
We showed up 5 minutes before our tee time, we were getting checked in when the younger manager came over and said we couldn’t play anymore. I was shocked to be honest. I had showed up as soon as the tee time here before and been able to play. He was not friendly and didn’t make eye contact with us once. He just kept saying on time is 10 minutes before. Personally I have always loved coming here to play a quick 9. Me and my friends may never play here again. Definitely won’t recommend here when at work. Where I work with other golfers and am constantly getting asked for recommendations for courses to play. If they ever ask about Ruth, what do you think I’m going to say?
