Reviews
Course looks good
Hadn’t been here in a few years. Course is in great shape. Great recovery. Didn’t appreciate having to play behind a fivesome of clowns. Only downside of the day.
Good course with nice greens
The course is always in good shape.. No perfectly manicured, but in nice shape The greens were very smooth and true.
Good Course
This was my first time playing Ashland Golf Club. The course was in good shape. The tee boxes were mowed well so you didn't have to tee it up really high. The fairways and rough were well taken care of. The greens were soft, but a little slow for my liking. The course is pretty short, but is challenging as well. The course was pretty full, but pace of play was excellent. Played 18 holes in under 4 hours and that was really nice.
Great course
This course is really good. The fairways, are well taken care off, the rough is doesn't look like a rough and u can easily see ur ball. The greens are great and challenging. It's perfect for a practice course.
Great course for the value
This course is fantastic for the price you pay. Upkeep is good and the greens seem well maintained. Each hole has something different to offer.
Great time
Cool conditions, but I enjoyed my round. Played 18 holes in about 2.5 hours. Staff was terrific and I had fun playing at The Ashland Country Club.
Great course
This was one of the best kept courses I’ve played in Nebraska. Top notch course even when it poured the whole night before. Would recommend to anyone. Also, you can’t beat the price
Super slow play
Several groups on course horse playing and no Marshall. Groups playing multiple balls and not letting faster groups through. I was backed up with 2 other groups waiting.
Greens were receptive and fairways fair. Long in spots.
Tee boxes poor condition but maybe due to large groups ahead hitting multiple shots and horse playing. They never repaired any divots. Long drive for me for a poor experience. Not going back!!!
Great course
It's a great challenging course and you'll definitely get what you paid for...lol
Not going back!
Course was fine, condition was good. The problem is allowing large groups. There was a 6 some playing two groups ahead of us and really it was a ten some as they were playing with the group behind them, and another 6 person group ahead of them. The groups had no respect for the people behind them. They would take ten minutes on the green and would all line up to watch each person putt. There were 3 groups stacked behind us as we all waited. They have no rangers. Staff is friendly but the wait at every hole was so pain-full! We will not be going back, ever!.
Great place
Awesome conditions, great value.. Well worth the drive. The course is in better shale than most courses in Omaha
Fun Course, Affordable, Great Atmosphere
Ashland GC is a very good course—especially for beginners/high handicappers like me. The layout is mostly open with nice, wide fairways (great for habitual slicers like me). But there are a few challenging holes mixed in as well. This is a great course to practice/learn on. The pace of play is good. The atmosphere is very family friendly and laid-back (e.g., there’s a family swimming pool right by the clubhouse), which is great. I think this is a highly underrated course. There are other nice courses nearby, but this is a great value for newer/intermediate golfers who just want to get out and have fun without a “stuffy” private club-type atmosphere or intimidating course layout. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I was impressed with how well-maintained the course was—especially during Nebraska’s hot/dry season in July. It’s also very accessible (right off the highway). I highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to get in a nice, relaxing round for a great price.
Course is in excellent shape
Didn't have to wait long at any hole even though the course was very busy.
Great time
Staff waited for our group to finish. They were awesome. Thanks for a great time.
