A little slow today
We had a couple of drunks in front of us who got the hairy eyeball from everybody. Very unusual for this course. They made it a little slow for the rest of us.
Great day!
The weather was perfect and the play was very quick having just missed a tournament. The greens were aerated last week so were a little dicey. Didn't affect mY game, though.
Great little course
The course was in very good condition. We love it, and it's a beautiful location. Nice sea breeze all day.
Nice, rather easy 9 hole course
Great conditions, carts loud and slow, not enough sand traps
Nice take!
Considering the wet weather we have been having the course was only a little sluggish in spots. Greens were fine albeit tricky.
All around great experience
Will definitely be back to play again.
Much better than a year ago
The greens are fast and in good shape. Fringes and most of the fairways have come back nicely, huge improvement over exactly one year ago, especially with the drought. bunkers raked, all in all an interesting course layout, mostly blind shots to the greens so you'll want to play twice. Got around in under 2 hours on a Monday.
Great game of golf
It was a very hot day, but made for wonderful golf.
Pace was fairly good, not overly slow. The golf course was still in great condition .
The hidden jewal
This course was a surprise at first glance, the first fairway was long and plush green. After the first few holes my golf buddy and I found our selves commenting on how well maintained and beautiful the landscape from Tee to Green. A good mix of elevation changes and a couple of dog legs gave us the challenge that made our play fun. I recommend you play a round or two like we did.
a Great new year
Condition reviews prior to this year should be ignored. Suspected employee grounds chemical sabotage destroyed all greens and fringes and a couple of fairways. After reseeding and resoding, the course is in fabulous condition. Hats off to the course greenskeeper crew. They deserve 5 stars.
Home Town Course
Very pleasant experience. Small 9 hole course in pretty good condition. Uncrowded at the time I played.
Nice setting.
Good couples course
Played with my wife. Good nine hole course for both of our skill levels, since she is a high handicap golfer.
Burnt to a crisp
Fairways and roughs are burnt to nothing, greens were better. Lots of ground under repair including a sand trap on seven that just needs weeding. Can't describe how terrible the fairway conditions are, not one decent lie all day. Worth the $30 on Golfnow....maybe.
Small and pleasant course
Shorter course fairly wide open and pleasant to play
Challenging for the high handicap golfer.
Love the addition of the alternate ladies' tees on a few of the longer holes. Course was in great shape except for standing water in a few of the sand traps.
worst golf experience ever
I will never return to this course. Not even if they offered to let me golf for free. It took 3.5 hrs to play 9 holes and they had 2 kids out mowing the greens and first cut the entire time we were there. It seemed like they followed us around the course. And the were still mowing when we left, AT 11:30. The kids mowing acted as if it was the players inconveniencing them. I have never been so disappointed golfing in my life. The course is pretty lame and the grounds crew is a joke. The people in the club house however were very nice. Thats about the only good thing i can say about this course. Oh and the rum and coke I ordered was probably the weakest most watered down drink over ever had. If i could give them negative stars i would. Do yourself a favor and play elsewhere.
Fair 9 hole course in fair condition...
There is some character on a few of the holes, but the majority of them are fairly benign and boring. I can see play being snail slow on weekends.
Had to show my email confirmation on my phone to the guy in the pro shop as apparently they have no way of telling if you've paid or not if you've booked through golf now. Was a bit uncomfortable, and seems odd considering all the other courses I've played knew on their end when I got there.
The $12 golf now hot deal was well worth it, but I wouldn't consider paying their $34 to ride 9 holes rack rate as the condition of the course just wouldn't warrant it. Could easily walk this course, and if I ever played it again I'd probably walk it and plan 2.5 - 3 hours for the 9 if it were a weekend.
Good, inexpensive 9
; good for the quick "golf fix", decent facility. At $12-15 per nine, it is an appropriate vale
