Cedar creek
Was good and the greens were good would recommend
You get what you pay for
Course conditions are better now then they’ve ever been. But they weren’t that great to begin with. For $30 you can’t expect all that much anyway.
Pros: Course layout, elevation changes, fairways ok, maintenance has done some recent cleaning of waste areas/around water hazards, some nice views, and greens have recovered pretty well from aeration a few weeks ago
Cons: Tee boxes mostly in abysmal shape, a lot of damage on the greens (not only ball marks but cup-cutting errors and mower damage), course fairly penal with heavily wooded areas lining nearly every hole, slow pace of play, and if it rains even a day or two before you play there will be a lot of drainage issues.
All in all, I think Cedar Creek is a good example of the broken windows theory. The course has never been in great shape, so people are less apt to repair divots and ball marks, making the fairways and greens worse off then they were before. With some more $$$ and better maintenance this course could be a real gem.
love cedar creek
Everyone is super nice, the course is great and challenging. I am a recreational golfer but can hold my own on a course. The staff is phenomenal!
Good layout
Good layout, tee boxes in poor shape, friendly helpful staff
Very cost efficient
The layout and view of the course is well done, the course conditions are also well kept.
With it being < $50 for 18 holes, I feel this is a really good deal for this course. Highly recommend!
