Quality Course
The course was in great shape. Staff was very friendly and informative. The group in front of us was playing extremely slow and it would’ve been nice if a starter prodded them along, otherwise I have no complaints.
Fine for the price
Cheap, fun and a good time. Definitely recommend if you want a halfway decent course at a low price. Relaxed dress code
Needs some TLC
Greens recently aerated but firm and true. Course fairways need work and tee boxes are in bad shape. Nice layout wish they would but some time into getting course in shape.
Value
Good value for the fall season, should be in good shape for 2/22 season.
Family
Good pace relaxing round with family members. Tee boxes were closed, getting ready for next season. Looks like they are putting a little more effort in the conditions of the course for next season.

You get what you pay for
Course conditions are better now then they’ve ever been. But they weren’t that great to begin with. For $30 you can’t expect all that much anyway.
Pros: Course layout, elevation changes, fairways ok, maintenance has done some recent cleaning of waste areas/around water hazards, some nice views, and greens have recovered pretty well from aeration a few weeks ago
Cons: Tee boxes mostly in abysmal shape, a lot of damage on the greens (not only ball marks but cup-cutting errors and mower damage), course fairly penal with heavily wooded areas lining nearly every hole, slow pace of play, and if it rains even a day or two before you play there will be a lot of drainage issues.
All in all, I think Cedar Creek is a good example of the broken windows theory. The course has never been in great shape, so people are less apt to repair divots and ball marks, making the fairways and greens worse off then they were before. With some more $$$ and better maintenance this course could be a real gem.
