Solid local course
I have a county card so this isn't one of my golf now spots but I do really like this course. I play here and weequahic a lot. I like how open this course is and it's a bit longer so you can bust out the driver if you want. There's also not much in the way of hazards which is nice for someone at my level of skill as well.

Stressful Experience
First time and definitely the last time playing this course. We got there and were told tee times were delayed 40 minutes. In order to get more people in, they started doing 8 minutes between tee offs, which I thought was not allowed during the pandemic. People were cutting the line and everything was very unorganized. At one point, the ranger came over to our group saying he got a complaint from the group behind us, meanwhile we were waiting at least 5 minutes at every hole before teeing off due to the course being extremely backed up. It was extremely dangerous since they were encouraging us to hit while the golfers in front of us were still in our range. Definitely the opposite of an enjoyable experience.

Better stay in the fairway...
Don't try to be cute, it doesn't look like it but this course will punish aggressive players...few fairway bunkers mostly all of them shield the greens so having a good second shot angle is valuable here

Way too packed for Covid-19
Hendricks is always a fun track to play... I even shot one of my best rounds there this time around (74). The main problem I have with today was that way too many golfers were on the course. They were sending people out immediately after people teed off on one. This caused a lot of congestion and some awkward moments of social distancing.
Course conditions are great right now. The greens are slow so be prepared to put some pepper in your putts.

Good course
The pace was little bit too tight but the green is in really good condition. Will come back. Very organized staff too.

First impression
Nice muni course. No food or beverage available. Can’t even find a garbage can on the course

Covid Play
The course is in great shape...... but let’s talk about the round. 4pm tee time so that I can get 18 in. Get there to find out that they are running 45mim to an hour late because of their “social distancing pace”... when asked if I could have the twilight rate since I was going out at 4:47 for a 4pm tee time I was told no..... paid for a cart since the 3 other I was playing with got carts, hoping we would finish 18 and then the start told me that I “need to ride with the other player” so they could save clean carts for the groups behind us. Makes perfect sense to ride with a stranger during a global pandemic when you paid for your own cart but I digress.

Course followed social distancing and the tee times were adhered to. The greens are in good shape and my round was pleasant

Don’t waste your money!
The course is confusing, you don’t know where the next hole is. There are no signs telling you where to go. Trash on every tee off. The real issue here is the staff. Starters don’t know what they are doing, they just seem to be there for a paycheck, or starter lied to us about when we would start, time carts were due and brought us in early, just so he could go home, this was 45 min earlier then the approximated closing time and we did not have carts at this point.
