The course of fairways and greens are good but too much dirt and weeds off the fairways . It seems to me is that they saved money on reconstruction

Great County Course
Greens were in the best condition of any course that I have played this year. Bunkers also in great shape with actual sand. Fairways also are improving greatly. 4 hour round. This was the most enjoyable round that I have played this year.

Much improved since renovation!
Great first round at the revamped course. I played it many times before that but not since it reopened and it is much nicer. I had a great round on the course after first tee. But the starters here are just grouchy guys and I can’t understand why. This is a repeated thing here and it’s like you just have to grin and bear it - this is the third time this has happened with me here. I arrived to the starter as a solo 8 minutes before tee time and took a lecture from the two of them. I was at the tee before the first guy even teed off. We actually finished teeing off before our tee time. Great muni and I’ll def be back despite that

Essex best
For a local course this is definitely worth playing and very manageable and easy to walk. This is a major improvement from the way this course used to be thank God they put some money into this place
