About
Green Knoll Golf Course in Bridgewater Township has a varied terrain that provides a unique character to the course. The course sprawls across gently rolling hills dappled with mature trees. Much of the course's challenges are a result of the tricky contours. Some of the elevation changes are dramatic but there are also some subtle ones, which can be just as tricky. Further accuracy is required to maneuver the tight fairways. There are definitely challenges in store throughout but overall the golf course's playability appeals to all skill levels, from novices to avid golfers. It measures a manageable 6,443 yards from the back tees. In addition to the 18-hole course, there is also a nine-hole pitch-and-putt course. Green Knoll is one of five golf courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission.

Course needs work
Pace of play couldnt be slower, tee boxes appear to have been hit by grenades, rentable hard hats wouldnt be a bad idea
Nice course
One of the better public courses in the area. I come back to visit family every year and im going put this on my play list with fox hollow and neshanic.
Greens
Greens were aerated and poorly dressed. Putting was horrible for $65 so left after 5 holes!! These courses should advertise when greens are freshly aerated so a golfer has the choice to book or not book!! Or at the very least offer a simple discount to a golfer for putting on crappy greens !
Tee off delay caused by shortage of carts!!
Our tee time was pushed back by 20
minutes because there weren’t enough golf carts for our twosomes to go out. That was disappointing because we weren’t able to finish our round due to darkness as a result of cart shortage.
Extremely Disappointed
The fairway/ rough was bone dry. Dead grass covers almost every hole except for the greens. Course still charges full price in spite of these dry conditions making the round miserable. Vending machine in the pro shop gave me a drink that had clearly been opened and drank from before I purchased it. Pace of play was unacceptable. For the price, it is not worth it.
Unplayable
Only watering greens, fairways are 100% burnt. Do not play, honestly, the course should be closed until we get rain.
All bad
Pace of play awful, a virtual dust bowl. I had to pass slow playing groups more than once and didn’t play a full 18
Course falls well behind the other county courses. Only three ball washes available with swamp water. Tee boxes in rough shape. Sand in some bunkers, dirt in others
Seems to suffer from a lack of attention.
