Fox Hollow Golf Club

Fox Hollow has a great layout and can be quite challenging. The greens were really difficult and very fast. Pace of play was great as were the amenities. We will be back.

My sympathies to the greens superintendent Course is already burning 🔥 up. Some fairways excellent other just horrible. 😤 Too much it pools and rots, not enough burnout. Tough job. Thanks for doing your best

The course was in beautiful shape T boxes look good greens work very fast once you go past the hole it moves. Great burgers had a wonderful day playing.

I wasn’t impressed with the layout of the course, very hilly

making it hard to keep your ball in the fairway and the greens.

If you happen to miss a fairway on either side right or left, good luck finding your ball. No first cut, it was fairway then rough, which was about 6” tall… yikes!

When I inquired about getting something to eat after my round. I was told they don’t serve food anymore, what golf course doest serve food, sandwiches etc.

In my option, there are better places to spend my money and enjoy my game of golf… all while getting something to eat afterwards.

Starter tipped us to stay below the hole. Greens were hard as a rock, above the hole was an auto 3 putt. Holes have nice shapes but the rough was very high. Didn’t see a snack bar ,restaurant was closed.

Nice layout, but the rough was so high it was unplayable on many holes. Lost balls not far from the fairway, even though you knew where you hit them. If you did find your ball in the rough, it was a real chore to chop it out.

The greens were nice, but so hilly and fast that you had to know where to put the ball in advance.

We were right behind the group in front all day, but it was a 5.25 hour round.

Fantastic course built in the mountains.. blind fairways - just great.

Greens were true roll.. couldn’t ask for more.

The course was slow in part due to a frost delay but for nearly $200 (for two) there were no Marshalls to speed play and the clubhouse restaurant was closed. (They did offer an outdoor bbq option.)

The course was in great shape but despite that, we left after just 9 holes because of the dreadfully slow play.

Always a great time at Fox Hollow though the conditions were a little moist. It was still a good time. . The pace of play. was slow on the front we had a twosome that was stuck behind a foursome that would not let us pass until the 10th hole. Other than that no real issues. Except I still can’t hit my firewood lol. Thank you again to all the staff Evan. We look forward to seeing you again.

You know what youre getting at fox hollow. Great conditions for a public course, never had an issue with pace whenever ive played there, and a genuinely fun and challenging layout. Some sloppier greens then most public courses so even though its not a crazy long course its still challenging. Only thing ill say is that peak weekends can get a little pricey on tee times, but you do get what you pay for in this case.

The course conditions very nice and green very nice & fast now. The only thing bothered us were the flying bugs. Overall it is one of my favorite course. The staffs always nice and friendly. Recommend!

Fox Hollow has changed in some ways over the years, but I was pleasantly surprised. It had been a few years since I played it and it is still a fun play. Short course with a good deal of target golf, but the conditions were better than what I was expecting. They charge too much on their website, but I'd go back for the right price (such as this GolfNow hot deal).
