Farmstead Golf & Country Club - Valleyview/Lakeview Course
       About
The Valleyview nine is the most difficult course at the 27-hole Farmstead Golf & Country Club, which is located in northwest New Jersey approximately one hour from New York City. Small greens, tree-lined fairways, hilly terrain and out of bounds on seven of nine holes are among the reasons the Valleyview nine is a test. The Byron Phoebus design opened in 1979.

While I like the course. . . .
The ourselves was fine and not an issue there was an issue . . . My FJ pullover fell out of my cart between holes 3 - 9 . . . Reported it upon completing my round and MUCH to my surprise it WAS NOT turned in . . . To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I have NO idea how and why someone would "keep" something found on the course (besides a wayward ball) it is disturbing. So you may say just go buy another . . . Oknno issue except it was a limited piece that is no longer available. Moral of the story SECURE your items people are NOT what / who you think they are. Yeah I AM a little mad.
Highly recommend Farmstead
Farmstead is a very good NJ golf course. I’ve played here many times and it never has disappointed. It offers 27 holes in a very nice country setting. It has always be in very good condition every time I’ve played here! The food in the clubhouse is also very good and the staff is fantastic! Highly recommend this course if you are looking for a great NJ golf course and haven’t tried it.
Nice course
Good layout. Receptive greens. Tee boxes need to be cut shorter , otherwise a nice course.
