About
Bowling Green Golf Club is in the heart of northern New Jersey, surrounded by miles of idyllic countryside. An abundance of mature oaks and towering red pines characterizes the scenic course. This quick, shady layout is a great round for walkers. The golf course has a classic links design that is easily played in less than four hours. Like most traditional links courses, the gently undulating terrain has the perfect pitch and roll. It also provides each hole with unique challenges that require accuracy and strategy. Trees heavily line the fairways, presenting some of the course's most formidable challenges. Bowling Green Golf Club's front nine is slightly more forgiving than the back nine, which incorporates the natural ponds and wetlands on a few holes. There are also some tricky doglegs to contend with.

Greta course
Staff on par*. Nice outdoor eating, chef has some winners kn the menu. Really cant say anything bad, the cost is steep compared to a muni but you get what you pay for in some sense.
One of the nicest courses in Morris County
This is a semi private course, which is always in great shape. Don’t play it that much because of the price we got a good price on the 4 July so we took it. We got out at 12 o’clock and there was nobody there. The reason was I think because so many storms came through the day before we played the course in three hours and 15 minutes. It was awesome. also people working there were very friendly.

Early tee time , 3:52 mins 18 holes , then beer garden and food were great !
Always a good time
The price is on the higher side, but it appears that a lot of that money gets invested back into the course. The conditions are great.

Gorgeous Course
From tee box to green impeccable conditions. Fast greens . . Great sand in bunkers.

The course has a practice range and the carts are equipped with GPS. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great conditions. Fairways are mostly tree lined so placement over distance is the key to a good score.
Pricing can fluctuate so when you see a discount, don’t hesitate to book your time!
Skip it
These guys are a joke. They make you in FULL pay for your tee time when you reserve. I play about 200 rounds per year and have never heard of this before. Then they give you attitude when you question it. The course itself is decent at best but it says a lot that every single tee time slot sits open on a Saturday, skip this place and go to Berkshire valley or Crystal springs.
Perfect morning
Course was in great shape. A few holes are wet, based on environment. Greens in great shape. The traps could use a little more sand but were relatively good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Fairways were in great condition, well maintained. Will play course again.
Recommended
A fun course to play with tight fairways and water. It was in great shape considering it is March. We will play here more frequently.
