About
The Clubview nine, which opened in 1963, is the original course at the 27-hole Farmstead Golf & Country Club, located in northwest New Jersey, approximately one hour from New York City. Offering a traditional mix of par 3s, par 4s and par 5s, accuracy is key on the Byron Phoebus-designed course. The Clubview nine closes with two very demanding holes, the long par-4 eighth, with an approach shot over water, and the par-3 ninth, which is surrounded by water.

Value Course
Farmstead is a great spot if you’re on a budget. Very good conditions and layout. Greens on the slow side but well kept. Pace of play was brutal on this Saturday afternoon. Totally unacceptable having a 3 hour front nine. Rangers need to be more active out there and be on slower groups.
Great course!
Course it very very good especially if you like one with views. I played Lake - Valley. The whole course is super challenging(especially valley), kind of forces you to place your shots, you won’t be using driver on every hole and there is a lot of water. Another thing to keep in mind is the rough is really heavy.
Another great golf experience at Farmstead
Farmstead is becoming my favorite place to play. The course is in great shape and it presents a fair challenge. The staff is professional, helpful and friendly. We had lunch and the bar staff was outstanding and food and beverages were perfect. See you soon!
Fun course
Recommended to any type of golfer who is looking for a beautiful layout to play
good day on the course...
course was in great condition... pace of play ok...new carts that have power... no driving range is a negative...but there is one nearby Caddy Hack...about 10 minutes away...I recommend Farmstead..
The best value
When courses all over are getting ridiculously expensive on weekends and even weekdays the price is here is so unbelievably fair and sustainable to play golf each weekend. Love it here. Challenging but fair and always a good time. Love it here.
In Consideration of....
.... way too much rain (every week!), this course is way above average.
It's not the course's (sole) responsibility to clean up bunkers, fairway divots. Fellow players need to do the right thing.
Excellent golf experience as well as a very nice wedding venue (especially for pictures) adds my fiancee! :)

good deal too bad the other 2 players were very slow !hacking and old man was very slow turned a 4hr round into 4 40 hrs some people dont belong on a golf course
Course run properly
There were many many cars there as our tee time was 630am . . . The lower lot was 75% full but what do you wany for the first really nice day this season. Most groups played at a reasonal pace and there was no major issues . . . We like to play here and look forward for the chance when available.
