The course has a lot of character and nuances. Very fun round.

I mistakenly booked the wrong day on Golf Now and was disappointed that I did not get at least some type of refund. I had booked it on a Thursday instead of Friday. I did show up on Friday and hoped the course realized it was a mistake and I just didn't show up. t made the tee time on Wednesday and it was raining on Thursday so I don''t think I kept the course from making any money. I know it was my error but $130 is a steep penalty for an honest mistake,

Great condition from tee box to greens. Nicely maintained and it really shows! My favorite area course. Traffic around the area is the only negative, but it’s worth dealing with it.

I haven’t played the course since early spring. In that time, the grounds crew have done a fantastic job of clearing brush, removing trees, etc. the course looks and plays great from tee boxes to greens. Great course!

I had a 1:50 tee time that I purchased thru GolfNow (Hot Deal). From the time I went to the proshop to check in (at 1:30), the manager was very confrontational and downright mean. On 3 separate occasions he would not check me in. He kept saying that he makes no money on these "Hot Deals" and that I needed to wait to check in even though I could have gone out with a twosome that teed off at 1:40. He made me wait util 15 minutes after my tee time to finally check in. Kept talking about how he runs the place and I need to listen to him - Bottom line - me and my buddys have been golfing here for 6 years and there's never been an issue. This guys just a real jerk!!

For the hot deal price it was worth it… greens and tee boxes were good.. only gripe was off the fairway and around the greens a lot of sand very hard to make approach shots or chip…

Overall in pretty good shape. Started on time and pace was fine. Some greens were in bad shape. Landed a hot deal so for the price was very happy. If paid full price, that might be a different story.

Fairly easy to make a tee time and staff was great.

Course recommendations:

1) purchase color flags for Pins to indicate Front (Red), Middle (White), Back (Yellow). This is inexpensive and a tremendous help when using a Garmin or other range finder. Common to many courses.

2) More importantly, prepare a plan to pave cart paths. Worst I have experienced in many years. Maybe Front this Fall and Back in the Spring. Lawsuit waiting to happen!

It's nothing memorable. It actually looks worse than last year, in all aspects, honestly. The one thing that was shocking is that they allow religious extremists to cut through their property to accommodate their dangerous actions...like walking children with errand golf balls that could kill them. They advertise this as a championship course, but that must have been in the 1950's as it is a boring, simple, and non challenging course. You'll beat yourself up before this patch of grass does. Sad, unfortunately.
