Granted its winter, but i think the amount of unfinished, maybe "raw" landscape makes it seem a little messy. But going out alone was a major plus. Likely go back
Fun Walter Travis Muni
I sought out this course as it was designed by Walter Travis and was not disappointed for the remaining Travis holes were worth the play.
Loved the remaining Travis greens. Several of the holes on back 9 have some good elevation changes which led to some unique / fun holes.
If you like old school courses, play Lakewood.

Always a great course
The course is in very good shape. I love the layout of this course. It has some challenging holes, but it’s always a lot of fun. It’s fall so there are leaves, but the crew is doing a great job of keeping them off of the fairways and greens.
