Beautiful Course
Conditions were great at Lakewood as expected. We missed spending time with Katie our favorite bartender but hope to be back soon!

Lakewood CC
Good conditions. Fairways were lush, nice to hit irons off and rough was ok, easy to find the ball.
Hard to lose a ball on this course.
Greens were slower than we were used to in NC.
A few times mowers around the green were distracting but they did stop and wait for play.
Best to play the 11th hole with a drive, lay up and pitch to the green on top of the mountain!

Well it rained for the first 8 holes on this day but we played threw, very nice layout, #16 was awesome we never seen a dogleg so drastic. All in all it was a great round 89 not bad for a first time play. Give it a shot!

Friendly Course with Some Strange Holes
The course is friendly with open fairways on most holes. There are some odd holes and greens especially on the back nine.

Good course
Course was in great shape. Was a fun course to play. The 12th hole is a very fun hole that would bring me back to play again.

Good Course to score low
Really like this course. Good conditions greens are in great shape... You can put some low scores up here. Shot an 83 and 81 both times I played.... 16 handicap

Course employees are terrible
Starter was nowhere to be found until 2 hours later through 6 holes out of 9 just to see him drive around aimlessly avoiding doing anything. Pace of play was abysmal but then i reluctantly returned the next day to try to get in a quick 9 by myself, booked the tee time on GN, drove a half hour out just for the clubhouse worker to tell me the course was closed for an outing & to call GN for a refund because he had nothing to do with it. Course is decent but everything else absolutely blows.
