Nice course
Course was very nice, great shape, small well shaped greens, staff very friendly. Only thing is with Covid the spacing was not every 16 minutes, not sure how they had everyone crammed in but pace was still ok prob about 4.5 hours for 18 holes.

Done with this course
My group had a 4:45 tee time on a Sunday evening, and were put out almost 30 minutes late. The starter just piles groups on top of each other, which ruins pace of play. We were waiting two groups at a tee box at one point. It took 2.5 hours to play the front 9, and then the ranger came up to us on hole 12 saying carts had to be in and that we were done. Pace of play had long been an issue at this course, but this is unacceptable to charge for 18 holes, put us out late, and then cut our round short. Conditions are bleh as well. There is no greenside rough, it’s all weeds and dead spots which makes short game impossible.
This course needs to hold up their end of the bargain as far as how they operate. Will not play here again.
Overall condition was good, the greens rolled nice, pace of play was good and I would recommend this course to a friend.. I would like to see some tree work done on the par 3 6th hole which is my only suggestion the tee shot is unfair from the back tees but I would definitely play again

Very Good Conditions
Very good conditions. Improved drainage especially improved conditions on holes 12 and 14. Relatively small greens are the most challenging feature of this course. Faster greens would be a major improvement.

The course was in great shape. even after a big rain storm the night before! Do not reserve online as the fees are stupid. You can reserve 5 days in advance by phone. no fees!

We played right after a thunderstorm. Course drains great. Played a 3:15 round. What could be better?

First Time Playing at Lakewood Country Club
First time playing golf during the virus crisis. Course was very accommodating and we felt very comfortable. Porta Potties throughout the course and they were very clean. The course was in super excellent condition. Can't wait to play here again.

Boring
Pros: course was in decent shape. The greens were in good condition. Some of the greens were so undulating it was almost as if you were playing mini golf.
Cons: even though you can’t use pro shop for anything during covid it hasn’t been updated since nam. (Vietnam). Staff definitely not welcoming. Course was very boring. A lot of the holes were alike. Very easy course. Wide open. Almost impossible to get in trouble on this course. Will not be playing here again.

Good Value
Fun course. Small greens with plenty of breaks and slopes. A liitle short from the whites and long from the blues. Good value for the rate.

Ice course
The course was in the best shape I’ve seen in years. Fairways were in great shape grass cut . Green were also in great shape.
