Excellent course
The course is always in great shape and moves along at a great pace.
Poor pace of play
Although this is a very nice facility the pace of play was extremely frustrating
They rely solely on the.clock for the pace.
We had 3 foursemes playing hole #6, #6
The 10th had a back up of four foursomes
2 waiting to tee off 1 in the fairway another on approach
I inquired about the backup and they said I was 20 min ahead
When the clock doesn’t work rangers need to do a better job spacing the groups
Ahead of the lead group there were 1 1/2 holes open.
They should have been moved
Additionally players were fishing for balls when golfers were waiting to hit
Pace of play is more than looking at a clock, it’s common sense
Back ups are poor pace of play period
Great day at knob hill
My foursome really enjoyed the course. The staff was wonderful and very helpful.
Beautiful
My son and I played with a member who was very friendly and course knowledgeable. It was a pleasure playing with him. The course itself was in excellent condition and tough but fair. The greens were true and the fairways were well kept. All in all a great experience. We will be back soon.
Very nice course
Very nice. Played in just under 4 hours. Some T boxes could use some work but it’s August and expected. Greens and fairways all very nice shape. Would like if there was some coolers of water around and also some ball cleaners. Cart girl came around after we were done with 8 holes.
Nice course, Rude Staff and Members
Course is nice and scoreable, but the members are terrible. Picked up one of our golf balls on multiple holes, same group of members. Then the same group felt the need to call the head golf pro on his cell phone to inform him we were playing a couple extra holes to break a tied match. The assistant pro wanted to charge us more than we paid for our entire round for a couple of extra holes to break a tie, with a wide open course - no groups within two holes of us. Our foursome has decided to not play the course anymore, plenty of options in the area. Head pro called to follow up, but made no effort to rectify other than saying he was sorry about the assistant pro's behavior.
Seems like we've found the member group that was behind us continually picking up other groups golf balls for no reason, then placing them back down after being confronted. Even the head pro admitted playing a couple extra holes to decide a match would be no problem, "Karen" members created the problem, and the assistant pro was a deer in the headlights because the members with no gold etiquette complained. Pathetic.
Glorious day to play this gem
The course is in unbelievable condition. The greens are pretty fast, but can take a shot with spin. This was probably the 10th round I’ve played here and the course condition was BY FAR THE BEST I’VE EVER SEEN. My last round was about 2 years ago. The course was in really good shape then, but yesterday was a big improvement to an already good course. I’ll be back a few more times this season to be sure.
No Pace Control
Great afternoon and course is in wonderful shape. No pace control, back 9 took 2:45 mins.
Great time
Couldn't have been easier using golf now
.course was in great shape even with a ton of play on it...finished round in 4 hours...would play there again

As someone who’s played this course for years, this review gave me a good laugh. You complain about members picking up your golf ball, yet conveniently leave out whether you identified it or yelled for it. Then you admit you decided to play extra holes after your round and were shocked the staff expected you to pay for… more golf. That’s not rude—that’s how golf courses work.
The “the course was wide open” argument is especially entertaining. By that logic, an empty movie theater should let you stay for the next showing for free. Empty tables at a restaurant must mean dessert is on the house, too.
The best part is calling the members and staff “terrible,” when the head pro actually took the time to call you afterward. Most places wouldn’t have bothered. Sounds less like poor customer service and more like someone who didn’t appreciate being told “no.”
I’ve been playing here for years, and my experience has been the exact opposite. The members are friendly, the staff is professional, and they simply expect everyone to follow the same rules. Thanks for deciding to play somewhere else. It’ll make it just a little easier for the rest of us to get a tee time.
