A sunny Sunday at the Links
Not many people were there early Sunday which means a great day with no delays. The only group there was in front of us but they kept moving. The course conditions were par for the time of this time of season. The greens were better than I’ve seen most courses in the area. Tee boxes were so-so, not great but okay. A small amount of wet areas in the fairways but safe to drive on.
My one comment is that they need a clubhouse, like the one they had way back when. Once that happens, this place will be the 5star in the area.

Pointless T Time
My one real complaint was the pace of play. As a group of 2 that was on time for 10:10 am on a friday, we had to wait for 2 separate groups to finish in-front of us by hole 2, and we had 2 groups directly behind us, WAITING for us to finish. The over lap was awful with the t times.

The Links - “if you like to just knock it around”
The layout is great. Play it from the back for the most enjoyment. The greens are still coming back from being aerated. Always slow but always soft. If you are a putting guru this is not your course. If you like to knock it around and have an enjoyable day walking the pine lands you will love it. Very nice people keeping this place going.

Enjoyable course, I’ll be back!
I enjoyed the course, as an 85-100 handicapper it was refreshing to have the brush cleared out along the sides. On those rough tee offs I was able to find my ball very easily. Greens were very slow and probably one of the pitfalls of the course. Other than that, I enjoyed my round and will be back!

Not bad but nothing great!
Lack of rain is hurting all courses and considering that it’s pretty green. Unfortunately greens are slow and bumpy but somewhat understandable. Still no clubhouse.
