Overall rating would have been higher had we not had to wait on each hole due to the slow play of the non tournament foursome in front of us resulting in a + 4 hour outing.
Mark and his staff could not have been anymore accommodating for our group of 24 golfers.

Friendly Staff, Course conditions not great.
Staff was quite friendly and the burgers on the grill were seasoned to perfection. Did feel like this course was a bit overpriced for the condition. Course has a fun layout but greens were absurdly slow and fairways were extremely patchy. Also the range was pretty rough.

Good & Bad
Being on of the local courses near my home i have played The Links many times and enjoy playing the course mainly because of the layout and challenge. But, I have big issues with the current conditions of the course,going backwards the greens were slow and bumby but playable, fairway long and uncut with dead spots, bunkers had wet sand and mud in them and tee boxes look like they were roto tilled. The good- I guess for a sunday pace of play was excellent 4hrs no waiting. Probably, due to the fact that $70 rack rate and 95 degree temperatures kept most intelligent golfers away. They must get the conditions back to acceptable to keep charging more than $30 or $40 per round for sub par course conditions and no clubhouse.

Challenging Course
Several tight fairways and need to make a near perfect shot off the tee to put you in play on your second shot. The woods along the fairways are unforgiving. This is truly a links course with natural landscape.

Not too much going on
Zero amenities, no beer girl. No water at tee boxes. There is really no clubhouse. The bathroom is a prta-pot. The pace of play was RIDICULOUS and no one was managing it.

TERRIBLE
Current members are unwelcoming, staff and ownership are disrespectful. Not worth the price to pay. Never golf at Links. Give another course your hard earned money. A round of golf is meant to be enjoyable, not being followed around by a staff member all 18.
