Peak season for course conditions
This course has put some work into fairway and green conditions. Bunkers has uneven amounts of sand some none or little. Overall grass was in great condition and greens smooth. They say in this area of NJ if your course isn't in great condition on mothers day then the coming nj heat and humidity coming will turn it unplayable real early. Seems to me they are doing the right things love the layout and different holes.

NIce Course
The course was in very good shape considering the amount of rain that came down the previous day and overnight. Had a 9am tee time and the pace was fantastic.

Great experience
Overall a great experience, unfortunately not a lot of food options. Course was almost perfect for the price. Bad patched here and there. 9 out of 10 experience.

1st time this year at The Links
Early is always best if you want to beat the heat. Today was no exception. Course was in the best shape I’ve ever seen it. I’m not kidding. Greens were the best I’ve ever seen as well. For some reason we had no one behind us. So not pushed. The group in front were hackers like us so we kept pace.
After the round is where my review changes. No clubhouse yet. It’s been too long. I know it’s under new management, but post something to give a timeline for the building.
Will I return, absolutely.

really, really, really, really poor mans pinehurst
there's potential with the land and layout to make this something great. it has no prayer of ever happening, so I'll review it as is with a few comments about quirks. props to the ownership group as they're clearly trying to bring conditions back, but still...
- overall, it's fine! decent enough conditions, fun enough for every skill level, nice enough people. i enjoy going there despite it's quirks.
- greens have shrunk dramatically over the years as maintenance wanes. i'm sure the greens used to be interesting, but in their current state they're all small mostly flat circles
- a few bunkers have clearly been abandoned (16 and 18 are most noticable) but doesn't detract too much.
- the course is wooded and goes through developments, but never feels claustrophobic.
- would be much healthier turf if they thinned the trees and cleared the underbrush to get some air flowing. i think they're trying, but needs more work. the turf now is okay, but some of the tees are very very dead
- two sets of back to back par 5's is insane. old scorecard had 6 as a long par 4, which should be brought back. do the same with 12 and make it a par 70
- why in gods name is there a SHARP dogleg right, where if you go through the the fairway you immediately kill someone on the range. the only option to avoid it is to hit directly over the clubhouse.
- the closing 5 holes (14-18) are great fun to play and show potential. fond of 4-5 as well.
overall enjoyable, worth a short drve but not a long one.

Brutal pace of play
Course was in better condition than recently but started us on 10 and we had to wait for two groups making the turn. Then seemed overbooked as we crawled through back nine in over 2 and a half hours. Made turn back to one and wasn’t bad until all of a sudden had high school kids jump on the course at 7. Took another 30 minutes to finish 2 holes. Done with the Links.

Hamburger/hotdog guy
Narrow and challenging course with a great mix of holes. If the guy outside the pro is doing hamburgers and hotdogs, I would highly suggest getting either. Both come local from a butcher shop and there is no better way to finish a round with one of them!

Good course
Course was in good condition. The greens were good but some had bad areas around the edges. But it was fine for play. Price was good.
