good value
course need a maintenance but what we paid
no complain
Excellent Course
Played there a few times and the conditions are excellent. Gotta be able to hit straight and the greens are challenging. Overall a real good course.
just like the old days
great course conditions. tee boxes, greens and fairways in excellent shape. Played last summer when it was dried out but this time it was a real treat. worth the money. will be back
A Nice layout, with minor difficuties.
Short course, but somewhat challenging. Good to have device to give lay-up yardage and dog legs. Played in early spring, but pretty sure it gets tight when trees fill in.
Great hidden course
I played this course in the early spring. The course was in a good condition coming out of the winter. Not an extremely difficult course but it is fairly tight. It would be much better for a first time player to know the distances to some of the layup points. You will need them on a few doglegs and par 5s.
Good experience
I liked the course. The front nine is a little short yet challenging. A little longer on the back. I had played here before in July. After a hot wet summer the grass was a little burnt up. I'm glad I went back early this year. The course was in great shape. $40 is a great value for this course. I will be back.
The Links Golf Club is an absolute gem.
The Links Golf Club is an absolute gem. The course is very scenic, secluded and meanders through the edge of the Pine Barrens in Marlton NJ. The course is well maintained and conditions are very good. The holes are dictated by the land, none of the holes feel artificial. Very playable course with 4 different tee boxes. Some holes are narrow and tree lined, while others are open and tree lined with thinned out underbrush allowing you to scramble back into play. I love the different angles that one is forced to play on many severe doglegs. I never get sick of playing this course, encounter new experiences every time I play (have played course 4 times in last 8 months. The clubhouse is nice, could use some remodeling in the bar/restaurant. Pro shop is stocked well. The course is now semi-private, allowing the public tee times, which is long over due. New club associate memberships are available, very affordable with reduced public play rates while providing full club access. I will definitely be taking up an associate club membership ASAP.
Not long but fun.
It is not long course but you will need to be straight. It is definitely a fun course to play. Nice fast greens, although the starter stated the greens were slow. It must be pretty fast during the summer times.
Great course in a quiet setting
This course has started offering reasonable afternoon pricing. It is always in good shape. (It is a pine baron course so the soil is sand like; so watch for aeration dates.)
I really like the layout. It is not a long course. The first 2 holes (par 4's) are really short...after that it all seems normal. Over all it can be a tight course. The back 9 is quite tight. The greens roll very true. Remember, the regular length Men's tees are the Blue here, not the white.
This place is a great deal under $50. Play it!
Challenging course
Pretty good condition considering the time of the year.
Unique back to back par 5's on front and back nine. Tucked away in the woods surrounded by homes. Enjoyable round.
course was challenging from the blue tees, especially the back nine. Staff was very friendly. Members we played with and met were friendly also.
Loved the course. Excellent tees, fairways and greens. Traps and some of the waste areas lnot so much. But this is after a big storm, and in November.
Nice Course
Course was nice and the pace of play was good. The staff is friendly and it was a relaxing round of golf.
HUGE disapponment
this course needs to do something.it can not possibly survive on revenue generated by senior walkers who would not pay anymore than $25/ROUND. i crossed the bridge from philly area and payed $28 for a "hot deal" around 2pm on thursday. i payed a fraction of what they seemed to charge and yet was disapponited. from tee to green, it was hard to decide which was the worst. Long grass in t box, fairway is as long as primary rough and a lot of patches, green is slow- needs to be cut and pressed.,bunkers are not consistent from a hole to hole. lay out would have been okay if i was not pre occupied with disapponintments. this might be a country club for .......... i rather not say.
Was good at one time.
The conditions were very poor. I was told the greens had been aerated 2 weeks earlier, however 2 weeks is enough time for green to heal and putt pretty true. Maintenance is in short supply.
What happened to it?!
I played the Links 7 years ago when it was private and it was amazing, the course was like playing on carpet. NOT NOW! It is not even as nice as a bad muni. The greens are beaten to death, tee boxes dirt, bunkers thin. The staff was not friendly, because we were not members. It is the first time I had to wash my shoes after playing golf, because I stepped in, not goose poo, but dog poo. TERRIBLE!!!!!
