Not Up To Par
I played this course years ago, and I cannot believe how much it has deteriorated. The fairways were crabgrass and dirt on many of the holes. I will not be playing here again and would not recommend it to any of my friends.
No shame
Love the Links layout, course conditions are subpar, green okay many unfixed ball marks ,but in good shape. Fairways & tee boxes were deplorable. For the rack rate on Friday & Weekends approx $80 they have no shame. The layout and hole designs are good and if the course conditions improve& clubhouse ever gets rebuilt they would be justified in charging this much.
Disappointment
Looked forward to playing the course for years. Front nine was chewed up. You had to roll your ball to find grass to put your ball on. Terrible value for the money
Potential but needs more care
The course was beautiful and had a lot of potential but the fairways are in really bad shape. Was surprised that the greens were acceptable. I wouldn't go back and would prefer to send a little more for a premium experience.
Decent Course
Pace of play was great. Got lucky.
1/2 way grill was excellent.
Course : Tee boxes very narrow and beat up but ok
Fairways: Worn but playable.
Greens: Punched few weeks backs still bumpy
Newer paved cart paths show that owners are committed
Pace of play saved the round.
Another slow day
Second Sunday in a row I've played the Links. Just like last weekend, the pace of play was so slow and the tees had golfers waiting to tee off before we even got to the third hole. Walkers were paired with cart riders. It was chaos. Never had this problem before, especially waiting to tee off at 4 pm on a Sunday. Guess I'll have to try somewhere else on my Sunday afternoons.
Pace of play was an issue
Not sure what happened with scheduling the start times, but by the time we got to the 3rd hole, we had to wait for the group ahead of us. No biggie. But by the time we got to the 10th hole, there were 3 groups waiting at each tee. Finally bailed on the 11th hold and cut the day short. Would have been a 6 1/2 hour day if we waited.
Course is great, conditions were great, but the tournament pace of play, or just booking too many too close together ruined the experience.
